The staff is great. But every time it rains. The store has to close due to a leak which causes the entire store floor to flood. Workers claim its been like this for months and DG hasn't fixed it. Either the air is broken causing to store to close or water is in the floor.

This is by far the biggest and nicest dollar general store I've shopped at! And the employees are all so nice and helpful. You've got to see how big this store is...it's the size of close to 3 old dollar general's. Therefore there isn't stock sitting in isles making it hard to get through the isles

The Tyro dollar general store is disgusting and that is putting it mildly. The trash that is around that end of the store is unbelievable! They leave food out for cats. Probably to take care of the rat problem due to the trash. I once saw a dead mouse at the entrance of the store ?. I have also seen the store doors left open and the cats going into the store. A couple weeks ago I bought four Starbucks mocha drinks to later find out that all 4 expired back in February. One day I ran in there to grab a gift bag and overheard the manager speaking to the cashier about overtime. She was not speaking harshly to the young girl but she was using foul language the whole time. I think that is very unprofessional to speak to your employees that way and where the customers can overhear it. The only reason I gave this store a one star was so I could leave my comment.

Corporate needs to stop building new stores and focus on the ones they have. Stop sending so much merchandise, specially when the stores are understaffed and run by lazy kids with no work ethic. Because this is what it look like every single time. All 4 Dollar General locations within a 15 mile range look the same way as this one.

Saturday there was a young lady there who was clearly on something with another young girl in the back. Cashier was rude. Store is always dirty with trash everywhere. Most of the people who work there have a great attitude. There just seemed to be something weird going on Saturday the 15th afternoon hours.

This has nothing to do with Dollar General as a business but in regards to their staff. Today, as I was checking out. I overheard the cashiers talking amongst themselves about someone that fell out front and that an ambulance was on the way. I spoke up and informed them that I am a first responder and would check on the person until the paramedics arrived and I asked the cashier if she could get some gauze and meet me outside in case the person was bleeding. She agreed and got the supplies to help someone in need. This staff member was a tremendous help as the gauze not only controlled the patients bleeding but also acted as PPE for the patient and the provider. Much appreciated!!! Kudos to you ma’am, thank you for your help today.

The staff is super friendly at this location. I was impressed at how clean the store was. Well maintained. Very convenient and easy to find things unlike in other stores I have shopped at.

Taylor was working today and did not keep 6 feet from myself and my child. She was aggressive and terribly rude. Unacceptable. I had to shout for assistance and she treated me like I was an inconvenience.
