Don’t bother donating your things to this location. They declined a very nice armchair that was not broken in any way. I had a truck load of items to donate and I wouldn’t have bothered going to that location at all if I’d known they would turn it away. I went down the road to Habitat for Humanity, which is a non-profit organization unlike Goodwill, and had no problem donating the armchair and large dresser. Goodwill in Thomasville is happy to have whatever you have to donate and they are grateful for what you are providing which helps pay their paychecks. When I donated items they would not give me a receipt for the donations that I did give. They were very rude at the donation drop off.

The manager on duty 7/29/23 was very rude and disrespectful! An item I wanted to purchase was not priced and she wanted to charge $8. I declined. She then returns to the checkout counter to show me the item listed on eBay for $30. That action was VERY unnecessary! I looked at sold comps when I got home and NONE sold for that amount!!! Some were posted for $9.99!!!

My wife likes Goodwill. She loves this one. She says everything is organized by size and the store is well taken care of. Everything is in it's place and is priced right. The staff were friendly and helpful. This should be the training location for all Goodwill staff!

Love the goodwill. I go here to shop or just kill time you never know what treasures you will find in here. I've bought priceless antiques in here top of the line appliances and brand new clothes. Great community staple.

This was a strange Goodwill experience for me. I wanted go step back outside and make sure it was an actual Goodwill. Clothes were not as organized as most others, so I didn't bother sifting through them. Household items were overpriced, like pretty much everything I looked at. I've found this to be normal anymore, so I usually try to go on discount days and look for the color of the week. No such thing here I was told. They don't do that. Wow. This might have been the first time I left a thrift shop empty handed.

The prices are getting higher and higher. Do the people in charge realize that the stuff that they sell is free?!!! &10 dollars for a vase! 5 dollars for lids and old pots! They are trying to get rich with the stuff that people donate for a good cause! I saw how hard time they gave to a woman trying to exchange a shirt. C'mon management, you don't invest any money of the stuff you sell. Quit stealing from people!

I used to really enjoy going to this Goodwill, but the prices have continuously gotten higher and higher. They never run any type of discounts and do not have a 1/2 off day like most Goodwills. Many of the electronics like used coffee machines, gently used adult's shoes, and heavy jackets are all now $25+. This is especially true if the name on the item happens to be a well known brand. As a second hand store that strives to help its community, it's simply wrong to charge such a high price for its inventory. If only they would lower their prices and offer a discount day, they would see a huge volume in sales and have happier customers. Personally, I put back at least 10 items today when I visited because the price was just not worth it.Aside from the prices, the store was clean, the selection was good, and the staff were friendly. But let's be realistic, the real reason anyone visits a Goodwill is first and foremost... to buy items cheaply.

The prices are too high. I've seen several items priced at much higher than original store bought price. The manager Robin is very rude to customers. I saw her jerk a shoe out of an older gentleman's hand.

I have been coming here since I was a small child with my mother, I used to come here alot but I will not come back to this location anymore, I come here to buy barbies, since I greatly enjoy repairing and restoring damaged dolls, they have ALWAYS been 1$ ever since I started coming here, which was many many years ago, I was in here about a week ago and found a bunch of barbies, went to pay for them and was told in a very rude tone that all barbies are 3$ and then she tried to argue with me that they have ALLLWAYS been 3$.... I said to my mother in a shushed tone ''I don't think I want to come back here again'' and the woman next to the cashier gave me the RUDEST look I've ever seen, and stared me down the rest of the time I was paying, all because I said I'm not coming back.... we asked about a barbie doll that had been damaged badly, all the dolls hair was cut off down to the scalp, if you do doll repairs then you know how much time and effort goes into re-rooting doll hair (adding new hair after the dolls original hair has been cut off) the woman took one look at the doll and rudely snapped ''yes! even the ones with no hair, all barbies are 3$ regardless of the condition'' charging 3$ for a second hand doll is just pathetic, the goodwill location in Winston-Salam is charging more money now too and its just so sad, both locations INSISTED that they have ALWAYS been 3$ when that is simply a lie considering I've been a regular customer since early 2008, I will not be treated this poorly and lied to by the people who run this hell-hole
