“We went to Barks n Bargains Thrift Store that Support Animal C.A.R.E. Foundation. Easy to get to. They have a lot of nice items! You can also donate items that you no longer want or need! On Wednesdays, if you are 55 or older, you get a senior discount. When I went to check out, I asked if I could make a donation. The lady said yes and asked how much I wanted to donate. I told her and she looked very surprised when I said the amount. She asked if I was sure about that amount. I said yes! I also mentioned to her or someone else that I also work with a cat rescue out of Charlotte. My daughter and I love to support cat and dog rescues! Looking forward to coming back again.”
“This was the closest FB too where we stay 3 weeks out of the month, and even though the zip code is outside their service area they were able to give me bags of food this time, but also kindly let me know where to call to find FBs that service us. The staff was very kind and super nice, this was my first time having to use a food pantry and I am so grateful to the food they were able to give us. Every little bit helps atm. I am looking forward to the times when I am able to give back. Thank you.”

“The hours listed are incorrect. We were informed by a volunteer on site that they are open only Monday and Tuesday. Would hate for someone in need to walk here or waste gas money on Thursday like us just for it to be closed. The gentleman that was hanging out in the parking lot was very kind though”

“Not the best GW but to their credit they do still have a dressing room to try on clothes unlike many other GW locations. The staff was deeply engaged in vacuuming and sweeping the store. They were definitely in closing mode and not customer service mode.”
