Don’t waste your time. There was no old store…just a dining room, some drinks and boiled peanuts.

One of those little places you stop to see road side attraction and find cool old diner & old store. We happened upon this place and met the owner and friend of owner who treated us with great hospitality. Good food & great atmosphere if you love antiques & cool old stuff.

The service was average. We both ordered the burgers, one was 1/2lb and the other 1/4lb and onion rings. The burgers were thick but small and they have some kind of seasoning added to the beef that was not good. I actually thought my 1/4 lb burger looked like a slider because it was so small. Also for the cost I think a side should come with it but that has to be ordered separate. The onion rings were good but not hot. I won't be back. The restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms and they have a nice 50's look.

My food was great and super cheap. The sweet tea is always on point and the strawberry pie was amazing. I have gone back a few times. The breakfast was really good and fast. They are open late so after a long day of work if I don't feel like cooking I'll swing in for a good country meal that won't break the bank.

Nice cozy old school joint. Convenience store part was lacking in quantity or range of selection of foods and beverages. Food was good and delicious! CASH Only.

Limited menu but tasty food and daily specials. Great nostalgic signage and items to entertain you. Check out the back room. Service is prompt and pleasant. We had a cheese burger & BBQ. Both very good.

Started stopping at this location a couple of years ago on our way to the beach. Enjoy breakfast as well as the daily specials. Love the prayer list on the wall-don't see that anymore. Local country feel. Plenty of parking if you are driving a motor home. Look for the big rooster out front.

The Old Store has a nostalgic atmosphere that is fun and welcoming. BUT, on our visit, the food was inedibly greasy and the service was slow. The waitress recommended the cheeseburger and steered me away from the Redneck Reuben and several other items on the menu. When the waitress refers to menu items as “nastyâ€, it is probably wise to take her warning. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries. This was by far the WORST burger I have ever had. The burger was a flat, stale, gray-colored patty that I couldn't eat. The fries were typical frozen fries that tasted like dirty cooking oil. My wife ordered the vegetable plate (fried okra, red slaw, onion rings) and couldn't eat more than one bite of anything because it was so greasy and bad. I hate to give this place a bad review, but even our waitress described the food as nasty.

This place is incredible I was on a road trip to get bk home to my family and couldn't find anywhere to use the bathroom and this lady was nice enough to let me use the bathroom behind the building and she even stood guard so nobody would see me. Thx again
