On October 11th I went in to test drive the 2023 Toyota Corolla SE. Little did I know I'd be leaving the dealership with that same car!! Let me just say -It was nothing short of an amazing experience for me thanks to Salesman Christian H. He was so informative and well verse on the cars I had questions about. For the 1st time I felt like someone genuinely wanted to help me and not push a sale on me. For that I wanted to say thank you Christian for your guidance and help-fullness with assisting me.

Everything went well and smoothly. Love that they recommend services that need to get done via a link while your in the waiting room or if you drop your vehicle off.

Worst experience ever! Several days after I purchased certified RAV4 I noticed severe damaged to the roof of the car. Went back , talked to sales manager who after long negotiations agreed to fix the damage, and promised to call to schedule an appointment. Week passed, he didn't call as promised, and he doesn't answer my calls. I met him at the dealership, and now he blames me for the damages. He showed me a video taken a month before the purchase as a "proof". Unfortunately the video doesn't show the top of the roof, but a front of the whole car taken from the low angle. His statements were deceiving and untrue. Very dishonest approach and pitiful business.

I have had an awesome experience here at Toyota of Gastonia, unlike other dealerships I've visited. At Toyota of Gastonia they treat you like family and truly care about you. Christian H. is the person who helped me find my vehicle and I will be going back to him for my next vehicle without a doubt, he treated my grandmother and myself very well and did all he could to make sure we left with a car that day. I am thankful to him for helping me find my first new car! Thank you Toyota of Gastonia!

I took my car to this dealership because my car was turning off on me. I asked them specifically if it had anything to do with my oil and they told me no. They insisted I needed a new alternator so I spent almost $1,000 getting everything done. I left thinking the issue had been resolved and my car starts shutting off again so I went back. They then told me that I had no oil in my car!! Are you kidding me? I specifically asked and they said no and now they are telling me it is the oil. I was beyond upset. I spent all of that money for no reason. Scott W. (The manager) after going back for almost an hour finally said he would give me a refund for $591. I still don't understand why I am not getting a full refund. So did the remainder amount left if $275. Are you telling me it cost $275 for an oil change? It's been 12 days since I've been there and I still HAVE NOT received a refund. I called and they asked for my card number and said they would take care of it. This is absolute TERRIBLE customer service and do not recommend this place to anyone. My maint required light and my check engine light just came back on too but if I go back there, I'm sure it'll be another $1,000 or so to fix whatever the problem is when in reality they probably forgot to reset them after putting oil in my car. This place is a joke. I want a full refund at this point. I will happily take this review down if I get my full refund but as of now I haven't even got my original refund back.

We drove the 2 hours to Gastonia after looking online and finding the used vehicle we thought we wanted. To hold it until we arrived, we gave our CC info so a deposit could be put down. After getting there and checking the vehicle out we knew it wasn't the one. The pictures online were taken at strategic angles so that they wouldn't show imperfections. There were chips in the paint that we weren't made aware of. One of which on the hood that already had rust forming. We looked at the only new model Rav4 on the lot but it wasn't the right color and had some added dealer options that we didn't want and they wouldn't remove. We did ask him to check the vehicles in transit to see if anything met our wants but they didn't.The dealer never ran our card for the deposit.

I bought my first car yesterday from Toyota of Gastonia. I had the pleasure of dealing with Antonio P. and he was helpful and treated me with respect. The car I bought had been freshly detailed, and he got me test driving the vehicle quickly. He offered a good deal and negotiated respectfully. He was actually upfront and honest and made my first experience ever a good one.

I brought my 2019 Toyota Camry in for the car's 20,000 mile service. When I picked up the car I was charged $23. They changed the sticker on my windshield to reflect an oil change would be due in 5000 miles. When I got home my husband and I saw that there was not documented on the receiptan oil change. When I called the dealer they said that I had an oil change 5000 miles ago and was not due for another one for 5000 miles. We get our oil changed EVERY 5000 miles, regardless of what is recommended on the owners manual. The last time I was in, 5000 miles ago, I paid $85 to have the oil changed, with the expectation that I would get my 20,000 mile service, which was in the contract for purchase as a perk, taken care of by Toyota of Gastonia. They were rude and not willing to listen and would not honor the service contract agreement when you buy a Toyota. I will NEVER do business with them again!!!!!!I'll be going to Handy Lube, on Franklin Blvd. Who are truly honest and a great family owned business. I should have learned my lesson before with the other times Toyota of Gastonia has been completely incompetent in diagnosing a problem with our 2001 Toyota Tacoma. But there again thankfully there is Boulevard Imports, family owned, who is competent and HONEST!!!!Don't subject yourself to these crooks! Toyota of Hickory is where the Tacoma was originally bought and the experience with them was smooth.Lot's of other options!
