I visit this location and went inside to open a check account lmao I was told I couldn't open a account there because, they were looking at a old account from 1997, a job doesn't even look at a felony that's 10yr old a 24yr old bank account, and charge me to cash a payroll check with there name on it what a waste of time and money will never? here especially this

Absolutely FANTASTIC service. I went in to open a new account and was treated with nothing but kindness and respect from start to finish. Courtney was amazing and was so patient, despite some technical issues. She never gave up on me or seemed bothered. I am so happy we switched banks!

Walked in to open an account as a new north carolina resident. (Been here for 2 weeks) The requirements were RIDICULOUS! I was told that I needed a bill with my address, atleast 2 years at my new place, ID and social security card. If a bank operates like this they are definitely losing money. Banks make money off of people opening new account late fees,people borrowing money etc. Called another bank in the parking lot as I was about to leave. I asked the requirements and they only wanted an ID and debit card or credit card. Great news! I found a bank that was not being difficult. I most definitely wouldn't recommend this bank as it's not new residents friendly.

This has to be the worst customer service I have ever seen. Branch manager could not get up and offer to help,instead just shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know. I have worked in customer service for 30 years and would never just shrug a customer off. What should of happened was her ignorance and no ability to be of help is simply inexcusable. Maybe someone needs to be demoted and sent to training.

The black fat lady at the window today was rude, I’ve being doing my banking with this branch for almost four years now and I know the rules, when I have much I go into the bank, but for one deposit and $100 change for fives she was like yelling “ next time you come inside! I’m a black man, from my experience here, most black women on that window are full of nasty attitude when it comes to them doing there job ! The whites and lumbee women on that window are nice and well mannered! My coming to your branch is the reason you get paid! Today is 9/20/22 I did my banking with her around 3:45 pm. If I see her on the window again I’m gone!

In the middle of all that is happening now this bank is doing nothing but trying to RIP off hard working people. When I first opened my account I flat out told them 3 times...I DO NOT WANT over draft protection...it is a flat out RIP off and the quickest way possible to dig yourself in a hole. Somehow it got turned back on...or so they say and now I have a balance of -$220. When i ask why they said it is a 36 dollar charge everytime something tries to come out. They refuse to refund my money for something I made extremely clear I did not want and was flat out their fault. DO NOT BANK WITH THESE CROOKS!!!

I walked in to BB&T for information about why I should use this bank. I know most people do not think about this but banking is a very serious matter. Where do you want to invest your money. I went to the location in Lumberton NC on Pine Street. I talked with Mrs. Beverly Britt. She treated me with the up most respect. She took care of everything I needed to in a timely matter and respected me by not rushing me out of the office when I had questions. If I had to pick a banker to see about opening a checking account, I would defiantly go see her. 5 Star rating from me.
