  Brandy and Jerrod were great. We work off 95 on road construction and have visited this Denny’s 2 times, both times were great the food was amazing, brandy made sure we had everything we needed and they both were very friendly Jerrod cooked an awesome meal! All 4 of us were very happy and we will be back again

  We placed a mobile order for a veggie burger with extra cheese and waited until two or three minutes after the website showed it was scheduled to be ready to go inside to pick it up. Once inside, no one was anywhere to be seen except for three cops who sat themselves. I wandered around unnoticed for several minutes before a woman shouted across the empty restaurant at me to ask if I was there to pick up "the" mobile order, I said I was and was asked if the order was for me. Classic. Next, I'm told they don't have my order made because they ran out of burgers. I asked if they were out of veggie patties, too. I got a confused look and she immediately went and sat at the table to take the three cops' orders and chat for about five more minutes. After that, I caught her on the way back and asked again about our order. She said they had veggie patties but the cook had left to go to "the store" (it's now 2:30am) so we had to wait until he got back. There were two customers aside from the cops, not ordering food, yet at least three un-bussed tables with piles of food and dishes as if collected from other tables. When the cook arrived, finishing smoking something, I was ready to hold the door open for him and smelled marijuana on him as he passed by. I'm not judging his recreational choices despite the fact NC has yet to provide legal sale of it, but it doesn't seem like good corporate policy for employees responsible for food safety. Anyway, after telling me they had veggie patties and would make my order quickly (the only reason I stayed), she asked the cook if they had veggie patties. He didn't say anything and just stood there confused. She added "please say we do because I already told him we did." So far, grade A service, right? Well, after the "we don't have burgers" turned into "our cook just left" it turned into blaming a policy that mobile orders are not cooked unless the customer enters the building and requests it in person. That's not a mobile order. That a walk-in take-out order. The woman (no name tag) was defensive the entire time, interrupting and talking over me at every turn. She made sure to say "I'm just following orders" at least a dozen times including as I asked for her manager's card. She refused to give me contact information for her manager or even their name and insisted their policy was reasonable since sometimes people forget they placed an order and then cancel it and get a refund. It seems to make more sense to not offer a refund once the food is made just like EVERY OTHER mobile order service in existence. As I left, she began shouting at me and blaming the whole situation on "where YOU'RE from." Needless to say, the cheese was not the kind we ordered, there was no extra cheese which we paid for and it took about 45 minutes to get food that took less than 5 minutes to make.Vegetarian options: "Veggie Patty" is a substitute option for burgers, but don't expect them to know that or read the mobile order. Just show up and provide your order verbally if you have the time. Reading seems like an area for improvement, here.Dietary restrictions: If you are vegetarian and don't want confused staff to carelessly serve you a beef patty without reading your order, don't eat here.

  After the waitress dumped my food on the table and then it took over 20 minutes to replace it and she criticized on how my eggs were done and how could I eat them like that. Not a good experience she walked around she kept saying she had to blow her nose and she’s snuffled all over the place the entire time she served everybody which is really disgusting.

  My Goodness it's something I look forward to late nite after working g in the freezer at FoodLion ! ! Service by Brandy & Jerrell the Chef is always good ,,,hot bourbon chicken skillet is "Out of this WORLD " ! ! ! Well worth the 45min drive.! But on this nite "EASTER" ,,I was feeling a lil empty inside ,,,after dealing with some of the public ,,stealing steaks, detergent, bad language,even in Ladies restroom found 3cans of BBQ Vinny sausage ! ! Believe me I was thinking about Denny's ,,,I need to treat myself to a nice sit down meal to enjoy,,,,even if I am alone & spend way too much time by myself ! ! Let me tell y'all ,,,what a world of difference ,,Brandy & Jerrell ,,,& the couple enjoying their Wonderfully meal impressed on me . No lie listen to me "ReviewTeam",,,,,as soon as I stepped thru the doors ,,,,I was Hit Hard,,,,with the Sizzling smell of a hot skillet,,, waitress was coming toward me ,,,,I simply stated ,,,,I want what-EVER that GREAT smell on skillet is ! ! Was able to sit in my favorite seat ,,,which is any seat ,,,just same ole songs kinda needs to update music.. .Listen to me ,,ReviewTeam" it means a lot to me where I spend my FoodLion money,,,,,this year "24" I refuse to settle for halfA$$ service,,,,poor attitude, folks who feels this 'OleWorld owes them everything ! ! It's Great to simply walk thru the doors ,,,,feel Welcomed 100% by folks that are happy to be working here at Dennys of lumberton NC on "EASTER" ! ! Telling customers the History the Donut shop ECT. Not complaining about working but resprenting the past history ,,,and speaking about all Great deals & how future looks very strong as a company in '24 & beyond ! ReviewTEAM put them in your home office PR division,,I Guarantee they EARNED the RESPECT that all traveling / local customers show them ,,,"ReviewTEAM"",,Great location off I-95 bout halfway New York & Fla. Also just over 1hr to Myrtle Beach SC. I would have building "LANDLORD" remove a closed restaurant sign Bourbon Barrel Bar& Restaurant ? ? Why is this still there for all to see ,,been closed before COVID ... ReviewTEAM should replace with "Denny's with Brandy/ Jerrell & FRIENDS &FAMILY " ! ! On whole side + billboard !" ReviewTEAM",,,,,listen to me now ,,,my meal has been sitting before me for a 'Lil while as I have overheard stories & hottest news on how to solve world problems. And as Brandy was Proudly speaking about 1st Grandbaby,,a Boy ! A few months old now,,,," PERFECT BABY BOY " ! ! Ten tiny fingers& toes,,,,and just fattest knees,, lovingly nicknamed " PillsburyDoughBoy" ! !ReviewTEAM",,,,listen to me ,,,,most important.Very grateful for the meal,,,,,but more than that,,,Sooo much MORE,,,,! ! My faith in my fellow man has been RESTORED ! ! RESTORED,,RESTORED!I seen the pure Love of "JESUS CHRIST" flow all around this Denny's being spread like a Calf.wild fire ! ! I know nothing about Brandy & Jerrell outside these walls,,,,,,,But I do know this ,they lifted my SOUL on EASTER LateNite ! ! The stone was rolled away,,,HE IS RISEN ! ! !PS,,,,,If my Denny's Review has offended anyone on topics I spoke of ,,,hold the hand of a "Brand NEW 1st GRANDBABY",,,sit by the Ocean Waves,,,,,counting stars,,,look at the "HOPE" in their eyes ! ! Tell me "ReviewTEAM,,,How old would you be IF yOu didn't know the day you were BORN ! !   Well it was Sunday, so maybe it was the church crowd. But I don't think so. If they could get people seated it would eliminate that problem. But I'm not sure what the issue is, but the Shredded potatoes served at breakfast taste different. Kind of like old oil. Not sure but I don't like the taste. Then the line at the register to leave is another issue. But it's convenient at the hotel.

  Walked in the door and was welcomed by a employee. Uncle Jerrell was in the kitchen whippin it up, food was fire. Our waitress Brandy was amazing as always.
