How long is too long to hold? This happens constantly. 31 minutes no answer. On their app it says my prescription is waiting for delivery. But I get automated messages saying my prescription is ready to pick up and it will be put back if not.

I don't normally use the Walgreens in Lumberton because when I did use them they would screw something up about 50% of the time. So now I drive an extra 20 miles one way to NOT use them. But this time I am between a rock and hard place. I had a hip replacement and am limited to how much I can drive( was told not to). I figured how bad can they screw it up. It is Thursday December 29 and my Ortho Doc called in a script for Oxycodone for the obvious pain management. I received a text saying there was a hold because of an insurance issue. Not to worry, I would go in personally and take care of it. I go in on Friday, December 30 at 3:30pm. I was told they had the issue fixed and would have the script filled in an 1/2 an hour. I go back at 4pm and was told they could not fill the script because they were not accepting new Pain Management Patient and because I have never had a Oxycodone script filled there before I would have to call my Otho Doc to send the script someplace else. I pointed out that it is Friday afternoon at 4pm in front of the biggest weekend of the year and how much luck did she think I would have. She said it was not her problem, nothing to be done. So many questions, 1) if this is their policy why did they accept the script in the first place? 2) why couldn't they have told me when I first went in? 3) it is a one time thing got God's sake. They left me hanging, no help. Now I have to bother all my friends and family to go through their medicine cabinets to keep me half way conferrable. Thanks for nothing Walgreens. I am documenting all of this so if I die through some pain management issue my family will not have to worry.

I don’t recommend trying to get covid or other vaccinations at Walgreens. It took more than 2 hours past our appointment to get the updated COVID-19 booster.

Slow service. I was on hold 40 minutes someone finally picked up and said nothing I could hear them talking in the back ground and then the person finally hung up. Drive thru service is slow as well.

Walgreen employee accused my son of stealing… the employee was named Ashton B! This employee put his hands on my son, I spoke with upper management & yes I said something that I might not should have said… also if it’s the lifestyle him or his upper management chooses that’s fine, my child loves the same life so I wasn’t picking or name calling….I was furious that an employee accused my child of stealing & placed his hands on my child! This happened 01/31/2022 & I haven’t spoken with anyone for this issue to be resolved!
There is several other stores for me to go purchase something at, a store where my child won’t be accused of stealing! So Ashton B….. there will be papers taken out on you & Walgreens

To say that this pharmacy is horrible would be an understatement. I guess they forget that WE PAY THEM. I should have learned my lesson when you gave my son someone else’s medicine when he was 6 months old. Four years later, why did I even consider this place again? Same horrible customer service, different year!
