The pharmacists, their team of pharmacy technicians, and cashiers work very efficiently to process refills and troubleshoot any insurance or patient concerns.

Walmart pharmacy helped me to get a prescription filled when my usual pharmacy could not get the medication in stock. I switched to Walmart. So much quicker and easier.

I signed my parents up for automatic alerts for the pharmacy, only to have said pharmacy render horrific customer service - several days in a row. First, the cashier couldn't explain why my dad received a text for his medication, nor did she bother to apologize for the pharmacy's mistake. Second, I failed to receive a text when my dad's refills were ready. When I called the pharmacy, once again the cashier didn't have an explanation. However, while I was on the phone with said cashier, I received a notification advising me to enroll in the pharmacy's notification service - strange, considering I never unrolled from the notification service. Lastly, when I asked the cashier why my dad's prescription could not be refilled, she stated that they had to call the doctor's office. Absolutely absurd considering she and the pharmacist both told me on Monday that a refill request had already been sent to my father's doctor. Needless to say I called Walmart's customer service line and made a complaint because is the third time my elderly parents have had to wait on medication refills in lieu of the pharmacy's ineptitude. Maybe the cashier should focus on correctly ensuring customer satisfaction, instead of humming on the phone when speaking to this customer. I find it rather unprofessional. But hey, that's just me.

I had transferred from this pharmacy after failed run ins and and had my young niece that had medicine escribed from Chapel Hill after surgery recently. She was so sick afterwards, threw up all the way home & all day. This Pharmacy refused to transfer prescription to another pharmacy that actually had it in stock after they didn't. Stated they would not fax it,, another pharmacy had to call, its not even a narcotic. I'm a health care worker and know that it IS NOT the patients job to call around to see who has in stock and get a fax number, beg other pharmacies to call and arrange to get it. They had no problem sending it to another walmart that had it 30 minutes away in Pembroke. After my sister explained she the situation with uncontrollable vomitting of her child after surgery . They have no compassion, no work ethics and no education. I can understand the turn over rate but their staff needs to do better. I won't recommend anyone go through this walmart.

Alot of Walmarts out there look like they are on there last legs but this Walmart is nice and clean and has friendly staff. They also have handicapped parking and restrooms which could be helpful for some. The customer service is also very friendly and can help you in a hurry.
