We met with both and Energy United was hands-down our best option Having always been with duke we were a little worried about what the service would be like They were amazing. They got our service by getting an easement from a neighbor which cost us nothing. Duke Energy was gonna charge us $20,000 to get a service
Now that we have been here almost a year we have never lost power once The funny part is we put in this huge Generac for the whole house, being sure that we would have all kinds of service issues being at the end of the line Their staff is extremely professional Our bills have been very reasonable Also, they were willing to do a little bit of a complex 400 amp installed for our house and property buildings
