This is a small family owned campground that is very convenient location for visiting the area. Each campsite is extremely small and very close to the next campsite. The host was very friendly and I would give a higher rating but we found the shower and toilet house to be barely acceptable. The toilets are child size and the stalls are too small, I'm short but my knees touched the stall door. The shower also needs a remodel.

Nice central location in Maggie Valley for Hiking, motorcycling, or just relaxing. The owners, Richard and Stacy are awesome hosts. Mostly 50 plus crowd with some seasonal sites. Both the store and sites are maintained well.

Owners are amazing people! very friendly and helpful ! the campground is on the small side but nice! Most of the campers where very nice , only had a minor issue with one ! We just stayed nice and ignored them! My husband had a couple scary medical/life threatening issues and we just had to get away and relax from life ! I would definitely stay here again and again!! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy and relax it was greatly needed for us!

Great little campground, spaces are a little tight but we really enjoyed our stay here. Clean bath house, quiet location with several sites that are creek side. Located downtown Maggie Valley and convenient to Cherokee and Gatlinburg, Tn. Very friendly and helpful owners, we plan to visit again!

If you are looking for a quiet campground with friendly owners, this is the place. Especially if you don’t need all the amenities.

Nice campground, the sites where small. The owners where very friendly, I enjoyed talking with them.Restrooms: The restrooms where outdated but they where clean and well maintained.Dog-friendliness: They where dog friendly, there was an area beside the campground you could walk your dog.

Horrible place to stay!!!Richard the owner sent me and my hubby to the flea market (trash) next door for breakfast. BIG MISTAKE!!! Two ladies in the market tried to steal my phone. All I can say is Richard flipped out on the phone and showed his true self because the police came to his campground.. Shady park and flee market!!!

Awesome family owned campground. Very clean and organized and Richard makes you fill like family. I spent the weekend there during the Bike Rally and have no complaints. Most definitely will stay at Hillbilly campground again.
