Soco Groceries & Meat is a great and convenient store located near the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is more than an average convenience store, offering a little bit of everything including gas, snacks, food, wine, beer, and cases of soda. It features a built-in restaurant named Birdies that serves good breakfast. The store is known for having the best boiled peanuts in Haywood County, with both Cajun and original styles. The staff is friendly, very nice, and awesome, providing helpful local advice. The bathrooms are super nice and clean. The parking lot, however, is in need of repair.
