Buchanan's Store is a historic old-fashioned country store, grill, and gas station that has been in business since the 1800's. It is a must for lake goers, offering lake clothing, fishing supplies, home supplies, alcohol, and souvenirs. The grill serves excellent food, including a monster-size club sandwich and hand-dipped ice cream. While some find it pricey due to its location near the lake, the staff is noted as friendly, amazing, and nice, providing service with a smile. The busy store offers a great experience with plenty of photo opportunities and a great selection of reasonably priced items.
Boo 🐾🐾 and l drove here to give their fried bologna sammich a try. Well talk about good it’s great! Their cheese is absolutely delicious and that slice of fried bologna sure is good. I packed up a bag of penny candy and a slice of hoop cheese to go. Everything looked great especially the icecream.
