“We were on our way back from Blowing Rock and an engine light came on around Marion. We called Baker’s Automotive and they were extremely kind and agreed to get us immediately. It turns out the car only needed oil and they filled it up and got us on our way saving us an enormous headache especially since it was Christmas Eve the next day. Wonderful business!”

“We have used McDowell three times now, twice to replace very large pains of glass that broke When a weed eater threw a rock through the glass doors, and they did such a good job that we had them replaced all the glass panels in the front of our house that had been foggy. We found it so much more economical to replace the Glass pains and they did a wonderful job.”

“I just had my front passenger window replaced in my 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I called around town and got a few prices including Safelite and Bills beat every single price and got the glass in 2 working days everyone else’s price was ridiculous and they needed approximately 2 weeks to get it. For the first time in a long time I believe I was truly treated fairly and not taken advantage of thanks to Jeff for scheduling it and Danny and his helper for the installation I will certainly recommend this company again. 5 stars worthy.”

“I went to see Jeff Pyatt because I knew this was the only place that I would find a 1955 600 Ford tractor headlight and it be the right one.
I asked Jeff if there was anything in this auto parts store he did not have.
He admitted yes, just the other day, but I've got it on order.
Before advance auto, or any major brand chain, we had real very hard working people with knowledge of what you needed. This man needs an award for long term service to our community.

“I had my car worked on by them in Feb. Today (1/1/25), I was coming home from Charlotte and heard a horrible noise. I pulled into Gerber to see if they could look at it to make sure it was safe for me to drive the remaining 30 miles home. Tonya Williams not only took it for a test drive, but had several mechanics drive it to see what it was. She wasn’t going to let me leave until it had been diagnosed. The mechanic found a bolt that was missing from the previous repair job. They did all this without me having an appointment. And no charge. I would highly recommend them and love how wonderful Tonya is to all her clients.”
“Brought my RV in to have the roof replaced that was Previously had a rhino roof put on from Western Carolina rhino liner in Arden that totally screwed it up.Bob’s Rv Body Shop replaced it and done an excellent job. I totally recommend Bob’s Rv Body Shop and recommend staying away from western Carolina rhino shop in Arden cause Robert will do you a shitty Job and not stand behind his work he charged me $4500 for a job that lasted about three months before it started leaking and falling apart when confronted he said he was lost for words”

“This past weekend on the way to a wedding, myself and 4 groomsmen blew a tire right outside of Marion. We didn’t have the tools necessary to get the spare on, so Marion Tire sent an employee to assist us right there on interstate 40. We went into the tire shop and got a fresh tire on within 30 minutes. I couldn’t believe the exceptional level of service we experienced. Also it absolutely looked good done professionally by doing a few things extra that didn't have to be done. So it all was done the first time. Also his helper Dave knows a lot and is a great accent to helping Travis in case he may have missed something he may not have seen. I was very pleased!”

“We arrived in Davenport Iowa at 2:45 Sunday and were midway through our 3 month journey when we had a bunch of things shake loose in pur 5th wheel, like the entire bedframe for example. We found Campfire through our campgrounds office. He said to bring the RV at 5pm to his shop and we were done 90 minutes later. James is da bomb!!!”
“The owner found a problem with my tire that I didn't know I had because it was on the inside. He could have just saved my life. He said if it blew, it could have been front page bad news. It was wore due to out of alignment. Just had it inspected too! Thanks Precision!”

“Great place clean and filled with great products. Walmart has real value and their pharmacy is a great choice to have your medications filled. There is a $4 drug list that if your medicine is on the list it will only cost you $4. Selections for grocery's are excellent. Meat is pricey. As a whole the store offers excellent value for the buck. Covid 19 precautions are in place and there is a good presence of hand sanitizer, wipes and precautions. In these times we all must be carefully.”
