Lacey didn’t just do my wife’s hair today—she performed a full-blown resurrection.
My wife walked in looking like she’d been in a 3-year battle with humidity and our crazy cat. She walked out looking like she just landed a role on a Netflix show called “Hot Wife Energy.”
The cut? Sharper than my mother-in-law’s opinions.
The color? So fire I had to check the smoke detectors.
Lacey didn’t just slay—she annihilated.
Now my wife keeps flipping her hair like she’s in a shampoo commercial, and honestly, I get it.
10/10. Book Lacey if you want your partner to come home looking so good you consider proposing again... and maybe starting a fan club.

Hanna was a breath of fresh air! Fast as lightning. She listened to what I asked for and then actually washed, cut and styled my hair. I will keep coming back even with a 40 minute drive one way. I found my new hair dresser!

I drive from Candler to have Emily cut my hair in Marion. (1 hour) There is no other person that I trust with my curly, getting gray hair. Her wonderfully, amazing style has made me follow her wherever she’s working her art. Her personality is like no other, her wit is on point, and I hope she doesn’t move further away..I would still travel further.

I’m not from here and was looking for a hair salon and found shear illusions . I am so glad I did , every one is super nice and I had my hair done by Honnalee , wonderful hair dresser and just a wonderful person. Highly recommend

Honnalee never fails to take my horrible hair and make it beautiful! All of the ladies there are so sweet!
Hair type: My hair is thin and fine but it always looks fabulous when I get it cut, colored, and styled.
Stylist: Honnalee is a magician and artist! She is not only wonderful at making me love my hair but she is so kind and caring!

Never again!! So I go in, explaining I wanted my hair done before our weekend trip and Easter pics … expecting the results on the first pic and getting the results below… not sure how it’s even possible!!! I sent them a pic and was told they would do that .. charged me $180 and I still have a weird ashy gray which I was told to try washing a few xs and it would come out .. for $180 I would think it should be done right !! There are random lighter colored streaks on my hair from my original hair color that had no new color on it, and it’s now damaged and to try to fix this horrific color I’ll have to pay lots more and sustain even more damage :( I tried to be kind and simply paid and left .. in tears .. And since it’s Easter weekend, no salons have openings so thanks for ruining my family Easter pics … Disappointed is an understatement .( the pic of the reddish/ blond was how it was that day when I came in) .. I simply wanted it to be a bit lighter like the other pic .. instead I get black and gray ..

My mom has been devastated for two days trying to figure out how to fix her hair that was taken from a 7R to a 2B after she just wanted the red toned down some. When she left she literally had gray hair on top and black hair on the bottom, I guess when it was rinsed the black bled onto her blonde high lights. And she was charged $185 because the stylist didn’t get the color right the first time. She is too nice to say anything or even ask them to fix it but I’m not afraid to leave a bad review when she’s had to spend more money trying to go to Sally’s and fix her awful hair job before she leaves for vacation. I’m just leaving this because people should be aware that you are going to be charged a lot and not get what you asked for at this salon apparently.

Emily Gibbs was my stylist and I instantly fell in love with her personality. And then she started to cut my hair. I have never had anyone take the time that she did making sure that every thing about the cut was perfect! And it was! I love my hair, and I look forward to the next cut and some color also. I am one happy customer. ?
