Cute store, lots of variety and new items from Target. Not so great on deals, most of the items we picked up were pretty much full retail prices.

One lady tries to be friendly, the other doesn’t even try. I was just taking a look at some stuff and they came up and got on me for having it out of the shelf. the fee for the credit cards is quite annoying as well. Every time we come, we say we’re not gonna come back, but we always do. Does it really hurt to be nice? there’s not a lot of places where the associates not being friendly can completely ruined the customers experience, but this is one of them.

I like the place for sure, but I bought a hyper tough pressure washer and I took it and tried it out and it's no different than a water hose, I brought it back to get a refund and I was told I could only get store credit on a post it note.

I have been shopping here for many years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The store has somewhat recently undergone a transformation of sorts. It is now very organized and offers a wide variety of merchandise both new and gently used as well as vintage items. It's definitely worth a stop.

This store is so-so at best. The outside looks great and it has a neat layout, so there's that. But I did have to walk through a cloud of smelly cigarette smoke from the 2 employees that were sitting on each side of the door, smoking. Yuck. Aside from that, I noticed that their sign features a graphic that looks like a church with a cross and because of that, I mistakenly thought this thrift store was serving the public good by operating as a non profit or at least contributing a portion of their for-profit bottom line to a charity, but I was wrong. I went in today and noticed that they also accept donations. Do the folks that donate their items to this place realize that they are basically giving their stuff away to someone who will sell it and keep the money for themselves? I asked the employee if the store served a charitable cause and he told me that it serves the community by offering them these items. He evaded every question I asked him and tried to cover the fact that they take donations and the owner is the only one who profits. If those that donate understand that this is absolutely NOT a non-profit and this thrift store does NOT support a charity, then that is their choice. However, because of the way the employee answered the questions I asked, I feel that they are misrepresenting themselves and taking the good people of McDowell County for fools. It is also my opinion that the graphic on the sign which appears to be a church with a cross is also a misrepresentation since their profits are not going to any church. I hope people will begin to pay attention to places like this and consider donating to legitimate 501-c3 organizations instead. I have a feeling that most people do not realize that this place isn't a non-profit.

Love this place! Never fail to find something perfect at a price that makes sense.
