After visiting another Camping World and local RV sales center we chose to purchase our new RV here. The staff from door to service center was great. Our salesman, Cody Haynes, was great. He helped us through the whole process and even checked on us at the campground after we picked up to make sure we had no more questions or concerns. A salesman I would be proud to have working for me. Overall I would purchase here again with no hesitation.

Worst customer service ever. Went with my brother to purchase a 2023 ePod. The camper itself is exceptional, but the experience to get it was way below par. First, it was supposed to be cleaned up and ready to go and was not ready when we got there. We even had an appointment. We were then supposed to go over all the details of the camper and only got a halfway Walk-through to explain all the high-tech stuff in the ePod. The customer service was so bad we almost left without finalizing the purchase. I would highly recommend looking for another dealership.

These people will take good care of you. We bought 2023 Thor Elite B van. It is amazing ,we take day trips everywhere. Took it Dollywood even. Fabulous. Best thing has been leaf looking with all the views from the big windows.

We attended an Airstream Rally at Tom Johnson Park at Camping World, Marion, North Carolina and found the facility well maintained and the staff very accommodating.

We just bought our first ever camper from Tom Johnson’s and the process was so easy and stress free thanks the the help of everyone there! Everyone was is so so nice and knowledgeable. Kathleen was so sweet and encouraging and made the paperwork easy to understand and was there to answer any questions we may have had. The communication throughout the process was amazing, we were kept up to date the entire time! Any issues were fixed and everything looked great when we went to pick it up! Some even took time out of their busy day to help us understand the things we needed for our camper. Overall great experience and I absolutely recommend! The friendliness of this establishment is unmatched!

We purchased a used camper last Saturday. The best part of our experience was from Andy Henderson who did our walk through. He explained how everything works and even provided advice on what to do if certain things go wrong. He fixed multiple little problems we noticed. He gave us superior service and represented camping world well. When we buy again we will request him for our walk through for sure. I am not the easiest customer to please, but he exceeded my expectations! Maddy (I think is her name) in delivery and Jon in finance were great as well.

Incredible service department. Went above and beyond to help us while we were traveling. Had a beating blow taking the wheel and a chunk out of our toy hauler. The service group bent over backwards to get us back in the road that afternoon and get the additional parts we needed before leaving town. The office and service crew were so helpful and understanding. Great staff!

I have had nothing but problems with my unit since I bought it brand new from the store. I have called the 800 number for Camping World the main number and they seem to have gotten some thing done. It's still has not been worked on, and now my parts are supposed to be here over a month ago and I find out they haven't even called me because they fired. Audrey got Lauren of the person that does her mobile connections. Rather than calling me, they waited for me to get frustrated and call. I am now calling the 800 number again because this place is terrible. Do not I repeat, do not do business at this location.

We worked hard on our deal and the sales staff was very patient and accommodating. Thanks to Blake, our salesman, for allowing us to spend hours checking out every single detail of the rig. This was our third purchase from Camping world and we have always been happy customers!

My mother and I visited Camping World campgrounds in Marion, NC. My parents stayed there often and loved it. Since my father recently passed, we decided to do a memorial trip to honor him. This was one of his favorite places. They have great RV spots with all the hookups, super clean facilities that include showers and laundry, a cute Cafe for breakfast and lunch most days, and the most amazing manager, Ashley. She was so knowledgeable and kind. We will definitely be back!

Walked around there for an hour inside and outside, roaming and looking at the used inventory and some new .....current 5th wheel hauler came from here & was thinking about trading up.....passed by numerous employees and wasn't asked 1 time if they could help us , after the covid sales boom has ended the interaction here has done a 180

We bought our first Travel Trailer there and waited a whole nine months to finally go camping. We forgot everything they showed us about using our new camper, so we made an appointment for another trailer orientation and a weekend at the campground. Jessica was very helpful in accommodating our schedule and getting us signed into service, even gave us a notebook to take notes. Dalton did an awesome job showing us how to hook up and use everything. He was very patient with our seemingly endless questions. And Ashley was very helpful checking us into our campsite and explaining all the amenities. The staff is always so friendly there and the campground is extremely clean. Great experience all around!

Camping World of Asheville and Richard Friedmann took great care of me. I'd advise you seek Richard out to get the best deal. I've been to many Camping World's all over the country and by far the Asheville location is my favorite of all.

I arrived in person with my family to inquire about making a trade deal for a used travel trailer they had in the lot. We were offered extremely low offer for our travel trailer (no surprise). The sales person we got stuck with (Marty Whitener) took me to the sales manager. The sales manager said he would be willing to work a good deal on the cost of the used one we were looking at (they were asking about $8000 above actual value which was also above the price of a new one - same model). He asked that I send photos of our camper (since we didn't have it with us at the time). I sent photos to Marty. After two days of not hearing back, I texted Marty on why we haven't heard anything back. He said he forwarded my email with my comments to the sales manager and hadn't heard back. He proceeded to tell me that he concludes a deal couldn't be reached to satisfy both parties. I never heard back again. I understand the outcome. What bothers me is the lack of communication during the process. It bothers me that I even had to reach out rather than this "professional" letting me know that a deal wasn't agreed on OR even reaching out to try to reach a different deal. It comes across as severely smug and it's not the first time I've gotten this kind of treatment from this particular Camping World. IMO, from my experience and looking at the ratings on here, this Camping World is giving other CWs a bad name and needs a complete overhaul of management & leadership. In conclusion, we were able to make a MUCH better and fair deal with another dealership (not Camping World) in South Carolina. We got a very fair trade allowance for our camper ($8000 above what CW of Marion offered) and a great deal on a brand new camper (over $12000 below invoice). My advice to anyone reading this, from my experiences, stay away from Camping World of Marion, NC (Tom Johnson). Their lack of customer satisfaction needs MUCH improvevent as it, according to my experiences, IS NOT priority #1 or even close.
