Awful place they now close from 1 until 2 for lunch and will not help anyone during that time. I had a sick child that needed her meds asap and no one would help.

Went in for Covid vaccination. Incompetent employee was not able to process my insurance properly. His supervisor supported his conclusion that my insurance was the problem without even investigating. Then she left. Ten minutes later a new employee tried my insurance card and it was fine. I told them that I have had this insurance for 20 years and never had a problem. I just got a flu shot 2 weeks ago. They were not interested in anything I had to say.

Robo Calls combined with absolute incompetence has made this pharmacy the worst local Pharmacy in the area by far. Call and call saying Your prescription is ready....go to pick it up and they look at You like You have lost Your mind....can't find it...maybe You put it back in Stock...No...no I'm sorry...no let me double check the computer....nothing....just keep on cleaning and acting like I am Crazy...The worst part is how they treat people. Whatever You do don't go in 30 minutes before closing...they will tell You anything just to get You out so they can clean and get out of the store....customer is a burden mentality. You guys could learn a lot from the far from perfect Walgrrens.

The Pharmacy was great until now. I have never given anyone zero stars, but I have been calling them for two days and they will not answer the phone. This is all over two medicines I was prescribed and need to keep myself free of clots. I do not want to have a heart attack or stroke. I just talked to the store manager and he said he would try to put me through. As soon as he put me through hung up on.I assume CVS, the Pharmacist, and Store Manager understand that people's lives are on the line here when it comes to some medications. I believe it is time to change Pharmacies or consult someone for legal advice.By the way it want let you give them zero stars. ?

This review pertains to the pharmacy. I don't shop here, I just get prescriptions (well, not anymore).I live in a small town and I get prescribed a lot of random, sometimes obscure psychiatric meds. Sometimes they have to order things they don't have in stock. Sometimes things are slow or there are hiccups. I'm okay with that 99% of the time. However, this time they really dropped the ball to the detriment of my health and well-being. Long story short, I've spoken with three different pharmacists to get a medication ordered in and to pay out of pocket. They've bungled it every time now. Today, they mistakenly sent the delivery back because apparently they don't communicate whether customers intend to pay cash.I realize that these things happen once in a while, but three times in a row is too many. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

I see the four-star and five-star reviews and I am baffled. I have done a few hundred reviews on Google. This is only my 5th one star review. I was up in Wolf Laurel which is about 45 minutes away. My dog and I were on vacation. We both needed medications to be called in. Both the Veterinarian of and my PCP’s office called me to let me know the prescriptions had been sent. So I am 45 minutes away. I did the same thing I think you would do considering the distance. I called to see when my meds would be ready. I spent an hour on hold only to be disconnected. I called back and spoke to a manager. Now I have been to busy pharmacies. I have had to use 24 hour pharmacies that are a few blocks from emergency rooms. I have never sat on hold for an hour at any pharmacy EVER! Anyhow, back to the store manager. I found him to be impolite. After a bit of back and forth on the phone, he begrudgingly agreed to check out my situation. He came back on the phone to tell me that they had received no phone call from the Vet or my physician. My PCP uses ePrescribe. His nurse can see if a prescription has gone through to a pharmacy. My prescription did go through. So, what to do I called my PCP and the Veterinarian again, explained what was going on and asked them to resubmit. I waited a while and called the store again. Yet another 40 minutes on hold. Called back asked for the manager. Same person. Same attitude. Once again I was told they had no prescription for me or my dog. Now on this second attempt to get the prescription to the pharmacy my PCP used ePrescribe AND left a voice message. But this man is telling me they have not received prescriptions for either of use either by voicemail or ePrescribe. So, for the third time I had to call both physicians offices. This time I asked them to send the prescriptions to the CVS about 10 miles down the road in Weaversville. Within an hour I received a phone call informing me that prescriptions were ready for me and my dog.Keep in mind that at any point during this mess the pharmacist could have said. “Sir, I am not sure what is going on. I will call your doctor’s office and get back with you…but..oh, wait…they were too busy.Rating a CVS store and rating a CVS Pharmacy are two very very different things. The non-pharmacy area is a retail store. Employees can be friendly or unfriendly. The store’s stock can be good or they might have empty shelves. Not having nose drops or Reese’s white chocolate or hot summer night red nail polish is not a life-threatening event.A pharmacist is not a technician or technologist. They are not Medical Assistants. They are licensed medical practitioners. They are on the same level and a Nurse Practitioner of a Physician’s Assistant. Their actions or inactions CAN lead to life-threatening events. My dog has had his entire thyroid and parathyroid glands removed. If he misses two doses of his calcium we WILL be going to an emergency room. I needed a psychiatric medication. I have bipolar disorder. After a couple of days without my meds I can really start going off the rails. Yes, I did forget our medications at home. What I was doing was asking a licensed medical practitioner to assist me. No difference between that and walking into urgent care if you need medical help and are out of town. Please keep in mind that this review pertains to the pharmacy only. I was not overly thrilled with the store manager but at the end of the day the store itself (absent the pharmacy) would have received a 3 star rating. But the pharmacy??? What happened there was unconscionable. In my opinion, it rose to the level of malpractice. Again, I am not sure why there is such a great disparity between my reviews and others. But I suggest that rather than take a chance have your doctor send your prescriptions to the CVS in Weaversville.
