About Madison County Animal Services

Madison County Animal Services has a wonderfully kind and loving staff that is so sweet and goes the extra mile for the animals. The animals there seem happy. The shelter cares for a multitude of creatures but is underfunded. It is open for walk-ins Monday-Wednesday and Friday-Saturday from 10am-2pm, closed Thursdays and Sundays. Appointments outside those hours can be made by calling (828)649-3190 or emailing [email protected].

    I am so glad I was able to make it out there today and help out a little with transport. Augie is a handsome boy and the rest of the babies there as well.
