A recent re-visit to Marshall had my niece and I laughing out loud reading the quotes posted throughout the store and in the window. Great for used books, too, I might add. And I MUST add this quote--I hope he posts it! From the Talmud: "Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world's grief. Do justly now. Love mercy now. Walk humbly now. You are not obligated to complete the work but neither are you free to abandon it." Ah, may it be so.

Lovely location on Main Street in a very cute town. Tons of cool used books, arranged and easy to locate. Upstairs has a nice assortment of vintage clothing. Enjoyed meeting the owner and browsing their collection of books and the fun and interesting locally created items. A worthwhile stop. I'd like to come back when I'm in the area again.

A total gem of a bookstore located right in the heart of Main Street Marshall. The city's main street itself is nostalgic perfection - worth a stroll for anyone in the area looking to kill some time.If you are looking for interesting used books, then you have stumbled onto an amazing location stuffed with high-quality stuff on most every major category. Some of the stuff is highly-specialized and so random that you just have to love it. Great sections on magic, mythology, philosophy, sociology - and about 20 topic-specific history sections.Clean, organized, super helpful staff. Although there is a smaller selection than the 2 primary used bookstores in Asheville, it is very well curated. I hope to re-visit many times.

A true treasure trove of books - you could spend hours digging in here and still not see it all. Loved the electic signs in the windows and around the store. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in Marshall, even if just to spend an afternoon in here to look at everything.

The owner loves helping you find just the right books. He even walked across the street when we asked about the opening times of a restaurant, trying to find the restaurant owner. Tons of books and albums, with vintage clothes upstairs. One of our favorite spots during our visit to the Asheville area.
