I pre-ordered two large platters from the deli I called the night before my pickup date to verify my order only to be told there was no record of my order or payment, after producing my receipt I was told my order would be ready, well come pickup day there was still some confusion over if the order had been paid for yet again I had to produce my receipt before my order could be picked up I don't understand why was a problem because I paid for this order well in advance and had a receipt...

Gosh I went in yesterday to buy a few goodies! Just “Wow” everyone was so kind and thoughtful! There were a few that just stood out. One was the young man who was handing out the samples of cheese and crackers he was so nice and had a great personality , I didn’t get his name but he said he also let people try the pumpkin pie samples before Thanksgiving . Also the Manager David in the meat section. He asked if I needed help and even asked what I intended to make and if he could offer a suggestion. I wished to pick up a smoked ham hock or Turkey tails. He showed me a few other options and we had a nice conversation. As I walked out I truly felt that Southern hospitality at its finest. Publics you are one of the best and have a great selection. You actually made me want to move to North Carolina! Thank you we’re Visiting from Montana and HawaiiSee you soon! #publix #Northcarolina

Publix is too expensive for me. I prefer food Lion or lidl.. the deli subs and sushi bar is damn good tho. The federal banking bureau should put a sign warning about going broke there..

They should not have been selling smelly lamb chops, especially given the fact that they have already known those meats are not fresh after long transportation importing from Australia.

The best Publix I've been to yet! Great job with recent catering order. Now just fix the issue of the outside of Publix-brand sweet tea bottles being sticky and I'll be extremely impressed.

As opposed to Harris Teeter, you have to unload all your groceries from your cart onto the checkout belt for the cashier to scan.Their online order-ahead system is broken. It does not take into consideration how busy they are or how many online orders they've received. It always allows you to order for pickup in 25 minutes. As a result, 30-40% of the time, my order is not ready when they say it will be ready. Most recently, my sub order was supposed to be ready for pickup at 1 pm. I checked in with the customer service at 1 pm and they went to investigate. They let me know that my ticket had been printed and was next up to be made so I checked out with my other groceries and took them to the car. I came back at 1:16 to still no sub. They investigated again and my sandwich had still not been started. I ended up leaving around 1:25 which is 25 minutes after they said it would be ready and around an hour after I placed the order.Several shoppers who were shopping alongside me elected to enter the sub line and build a sub which turned out to be the better option because they left the store well before I did even though I ordered my sub in advance. At times, it's speedy and works well but it's really frustrating in the middle of a workday to face these delays.

I guess they realize that their prices are quite high although I do know that in general everybody seems to be raising their prices for anything and everything. However Publix does give an incentive to shop there by giving you $5 back if you spend 30 dollars. I walked out with one and a half bags of groceries for $40 and one of the bags contained four small jars of red pepper relish where I cannot find it anywhere else mind you each jar was $5 and change. I would never spend that much on a small jar of relish however I cannot find it anywhere else so thank you Publix for carrying that one particular item.

Publix has a great bakery, which in this store is in the back which guarantees that I will go all the way to the back of the store. The sandwiches from the deli counter, the prepared foods (fried chicken) are delicious. Premade burger patties and other ready-to-cook items also great. Employees are friendly, courteous and very helpful. I wish there was a store closer to me, they have no presence in Monroe. But Marvin Gardens is on the way if I take the back roads to my brother's house in Charlotte and I like taking the back roads.

For my sister-in-law’s 65th B-day, I wanted to send a celebratory cake & a bouquet. How to do it? I called Publix at Marvin Gardens. I spoke with a nice fella In customer service & learned how to (online to Publix site for local store; then through Publix link to Instacart), and to the bakery to decide best cake!! The plan worked seamlessly; the flowers were beautiful and everyone devoured & raved about the cake — except me, I am in Maine. Well done Publix!

We frequently order boxed sub meals for our basketball team and staff from this publix. Every time I go to pick the order up. The meals are never bagged... just loose in the carts. The staff wheel the meals to me and tell me to have a good day. Not sure why I need to ask for my order to be bagged each or why they think I want to load 50 individual meals into my car, then would need to unload the meals individually into the school. Please discuss with associates that customers like to have their groceries bagged. The last puck up on May 25th was missing drinks from the meals. These meals were for teacher appreciation. Some teachers had nothing to drink.

The employees (including the assistant manager) and store managers are unfriendly, dishonest and rude at this new location. I have been shopping at Publix for the past 16 years (in Florida and North Carolina) and today I decided to write a Google review on this location because I was treated pretty badly at this location. I was wondering why employees and managers don’t seems to care in general about good customer service so I Googled Publix and my finding were illuminating. Publix info: The family of Publix's founder collectively own 20% of the company, while the remaining 80% is owned by past and present employees. So because employees are the true owners of these stores, there is no repercussions to employees about bad customer service. I hope this comment isn’t removed because reading all of the 1 star Google reviews, most of them are about bad customer reviews and rudest at this deli counter. Also, your employees at this location take out the products from the warehouse boxes (sliced bread, fajitas, candies, chocolates etc…) and put them onto the floor and then proceeded to put the products onto the shelves. So the food is put down on your dirty floor before ending up onto your shelves. I have addressed this matter to various managers at this location but to this day, nothing has been done. The floor shouldn’t be used as a shelf. I have witnessed this problem many many times, it’s disgusting to think that sliced bread, candies, chocolate bars etc… when from Publix’s floor to my countertop. When I think of people walking with their dirty shoes (may be with p*** on them or after using public bathrooms), it makes me gag. I will also add that the service is a little slow at the deli.
