I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the install services provided by Lowe’s in Matthews. On February 26th, I was promised a delivery date for my fencing product, only to discover that my delivery did not arrive as scheduled. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed that my delivery date had been changed without any notification provided to me.Furthermore, I spoke with Chris, the assistant manager, today, February 27th, and was assured that I would receive a call from the store with a new delivery time. Regrettably, I did not receive any such call. This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially considering I have a scheduled install for Thursday, February 29th.Not only have I dedicated a significant amount of financial resources to Lowe’s, with over $40,000 in planned installs this month alone, but I have also incurred additional expenses by arranging for someone to be present at my property to accept the delivery— a delivery that never arrived.Due to the incompetence displayed by the Lowe’s team in Matthews in managing my installs and the subsequent inconvenience and financial burden imposed on me, I am seriously considering canceling all my projects with Lowe’s and seeking alternative options.I urge you to address this matter promptly and provide a resolution that restores my confidence in Lowe’s as a reliable provider of home improvement services.

Lowe's your company hit the lottery with Mr. Charles (employee). He is very professional, and knowledgeable. A Hardcharger!. A "Man of his word!". I called for help with a sheet of plywood that was cut previously. The plywood was cut off centered. I shared my issue over the phone with Mr. Charles. Mr. Charles stated " Come on, ask for me, and I'll take care of ya." Man, Lowe's he did. He corrected my issue in a timely manner. I able to get back to my "Honey do list," .. Mr. Charles , " Thank you, Sir!!"~ Well Done..

Do not shop at this Lowe’s, Phil their store manager is unprofessional and impossible to talk to, wouldn’t honor kobalt warranty, shop at Home Depot instead

Get anything you need at Lowe's. It didn't take but 6 minutes for this trip. But you can wander around and spend some big bucks if you are not careful. Had another wonderful trip today ?.

Customer service really makes a difference in the overall shopping experience - unfortunately I cannot recommend this Lowe’s due to the lack thereof: In utilizing the customer service from this store quite a few times now, Sandra on the CSR line has processed my transactions. Unfortunately in all interactions with her she has been very cold, unwelcoming, and unfriendly — contrary to the service that I normally get from CSRs at Lowe’s. It happened again today with my return experience: no greeting or welcome whatsoever. No “thank you” or any form of friendly energy. She literally just waved for me to come up to the counter like she didn’t want to help (check cameras around 12:10pm). Greeting is one of the most basic forms of human respect, and if you can’t even do that — you don’t need a role in customer service.I get the impression that she does not want to be there and is just ready to go home. I had to speak to her myself just to get her to literally use her words. Overall very cold energy. I received an extremely similar experience with the older gentleman from the paint department on 12/16/23 (I believe his name may have been Mike)- just wanting to get you in and out of the store with zero customer service etiquette or care whatsoever. Some of the employees in this store needs to be coached on basic customer service skills. It will be a while before I revisit this Lowe’s location.

I’ve been multiple times in the last few months and the only option for check out is self-checkout. This is super annoying and makes me feel like I am doing the job that they should pay someone to do. The Saturday before Christmas I went in and purchased several supplies plus 5 gift cards. I specifically asked someone to check me out and was told no. I broke out of my nails trying to open the back of the gift cards to scan them. They would not scan and eventually someone came to scan them for me. It doesn’t seem to matter how many associates are working because there were 4 near the registers talking with only self-checkout available. I’ll take my business elsewhere in the future.

Horrible experience with the tool rental at this location. I was charged a cleaning fee after I spent an hour cleaning the trencher. See the images attached to this review. Also charged a late fee but I returned the equipment on time. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for rental equipment.

DONT NOT RENT ANY POWER TOOLS FROM THAT LOCATION!!! I went there and rented a nail gun because mine was broke. The guy did not check the gun prior to me leaving. I get to the job site and the gun doesn't work. So I called to let them know what the issue was, and the manager their was rude on the phone refusing to give me a refund unless I bring it back up their tonight, mind you I rented it at 5:30pm and the job site was 30 minutes away. I told him I could bring it first thing in the morning but he was so rude and basically making it seem like I was lying about the nail gun not working. I packed it up, nails and all and got back to store to return the nail gun and another manager name Mike helped me who was very nice. But the manager that I was on the phone who was rude to me refused to come and address me and tried to refuse my refund unless I walked the nail gun back to the rental department. I'm assuming his name is Jordan because he was back there hanging around and watching me with Mike but wouldn't say anything. This guy was very unprofessional not to mention he HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME!!!!! I will definitely be reaching out to the cooperate office on this matter!!

Avoid buying appliances here. Patterns of deceptive and unethical sales practice. They tell you a delivery date to lock you in. Only to have their delivery provider tell you they can't make that date and push you weeks back. Followed by poor customer service and deceptive behavior to try and get you off the phone. This time (the 3rd time) was the final straw.We ordered an oven on 11/18 and needed it prior to Thanksgiving. Ours died on the same day. We had another oven lined up at Queen City with guaranteed delivery in time. We opted for Lowes since the price was better and Sharon told us it would be delivered on 11/21 or 22 at the latest. The website also showed a delivery date of 11/21 had we ordered online. After asking several times if this would be the date and being told yes. We placed our order.11/21 we got a text from the delivery service asking us to set up a time for 11/28. A week after the expected date. They claim the delivery was for a store pick up and not from the warehouse. They wouldn’t be able to get there to pick it up in time. Causing a dely. After several calls they pushed us off to the store. We were transferred to appliances. They proceeded to tell us we didn’t have an order. Then they found it and said we didn’t pay for delivery. All to try and get us off the phone. Odd that a delivery service would contact us if we hadn’t. It was on our receipt. Once we told them that. We were put on hold and another appliance employee (Sharon) came on the line. She stated we didn’t have an order under our phone number, and we should check our card to see if a charge was processed. Odd the person before her found it. Only after we told her she was the one that processed the order, did she magically find it and that we paid for delivery. She was rather rude and could care less about the situation we were in due to her saying it would be delivered on time. “I can’t help that they can’t make the delivery. I told them the date. If they can’t make it, it’s on them not me.” Sorry but you told us that date would be fine. 20 people coming for Thanksgiving and no oven. We were offered no help and told delivery was a different company. This is Lowe’s standard pass off. They already have your money, so they don’t care if the 3rd party deliver takes the hit.I spoke with the store manager Brian and another manager Chris in person at the store. Chris said it’s a gas range and we’ve had issues getting install people in a timely manner. I asked if this was a new development and was told no. I asked why would your employee not tell us this could be an issue. She said they do not guarantee a delivery date. When told that’s not what happened. I was told that it would get investigated and I’d get a call back that same day. 5 hours later no call back. Only after I called did Chris tell me that the oven was in the store and there was nothing they could do because the needed a tech to install a gas range. I was welcome to pick it up and install it myself. Why should I have to mess with gas lines in my home?! Now I have to pick it up and pay an appliance repair man to install at a ridiculous price due to short notice. Costing me more money.This is the 3rd time we’ve placed an appliance order to have this delivery game played. The store doesn’t care and will not do anything once they get your money. They just blame the 3rd party. I’m sorry but your website showed a date that it would be delivered. Your salesperson said the same date. You should honor your advertisement. If you can’t guarantee the date, then tell people. I could have ordered from Queen City and had it in on 11/21.Buy from any place but here.

They delivered my refrigerator at a decent time. But they broke one of my outdoor solar lights and slightly scratched up the corner of the fridge bottom on the outdoor bricks. The just plugged up the item without adjusting the wheels to level the fridge. It was wobbling and I didn’t know how to fix it. Not very pleased with these delivery guys. Also they brought a tiny field mouse into my house which was hiding in the housing of the fridge when they brought it in from the truck. This never happened before with any delivery I’ve had. I am disgusted !!

I had a great experience in Lowes. The employees were all ready and willing to assist. I would give five stars if it weren't for the fact that given how many employees I saw standing around there were no cashiers.Do better Lowes.
