Went to garden center..had to walk to checkout in the store because the gentleman couldn't help then when I got back to garden center and asked for help to load mulch he was not happy about it and being disabled and having to load it by yourself should not happen at a place as large as walmart

Its ok. Imagine a (super) walmart, or grocery store a few days before a bad storm. Everything was picked over.
