I recently moved about a mile from this store, so I figured I'd stop bye this evening on my way home from work and gas up for my next work day. ( I drive roughly 300 miles a day and fill up 3 - 4 times a week so pending my initial visit.. I could very well potentially be a regular customer) When I walked into the store ( Sunday evening around 6:30p) it was empty, aside from the lady standing behind the counter. The associate looked at me, and carried on doing what she was doing (nothing). I'm from up north, so this is nothing new to me so I Carried on and got a few things and went to the counter to pay for my stuff and my gas. The woman began ringing up my stuff, never once said a word. When she finished she kind of just stared at me.. I guess waiting for me to display my form of payment. So I asked the lady if I could also get 45$ on pump 2 ( still not one word out of this woman). So we're kind of both standing there, me waiting for my total.. and her looking extremely annoyed because I still haven't put my debit card in the machine. So I asked her How Much do I owe you?†This lady sucked her teeth so hard I'm SURPRISED they didn't go right down the back of her throat! So she blurts out 52 something ( I don't remember the exact number because I'm still in shock) like it was the most insulting thing someone had asked her in her entire life. So, completely unbothered I went outside to pump my gas. I happened to look up, and the lady at the counter is speaking aggressively to the customer that walked in behind me, ( this customer turns around and looks directly at me) and the clerk continues to carry on about something. I'm assuming it was me because the other customer basically fell on her butt to turn around and see me. Needles to say, I'll go a half mile out of my way from now on to go to the other shell at the other end of the road closer to 21 and be happy about it. Their loss I guess, I spend over 120 a week in gas and probably double that a week in merchandise, so their loss. â€â™‚ï¸ Too bad too, because from the condition of the store... they look like they could use the money.
