Received a copy of my social security card in the mail, the letter was opened when I retrieved it. Will be contacting the office and the local authorities to figure this out. Shameful

Helpful, courteous, efficient--what more could you ask for? The staff here are awesome. Tia, at the front counter, is warm, professional, and as patient as the day is long. The negative reviews here talk about the speed of the mail, or not getting personally handed their mail. I think those complaints are not relevant to the actual storefront, since they're beyond the control of the staff here. If you want more speedy or more personalized service, they need the funding to hire more people and improve the ratio of mail per mail-mover.
Call your representative, don't tank the reviews.

Packages are constantly marked as “delivered” but not received. It has happened more than a half dozen times! I literally have to go to this office in order to receive my packages. Phone line is always busy, it’s like they have it off the hook!

BEWARE..do not use this post office to mail important documents on 5/9/25 certified important documents was mailed to sender from this post office the documents was sent back to the Mc leansville post office from Greensboro distribution center on 5/11/25 as of 5/14/25 my documents are still at Mc leansville with NO MOVEMENT

I shipped a package on December 19, 2023, to my daughter for Christmas. Two months later and the package still hasn’t been delivered. If there was an error on the package, why not send the package back to the shipper for any corrections that is needed? Every time I try to file a claim online, it comes back as”issue has been resolved.”

Two stars because I used to get mail. My brother moved in for a few weeks and had his mail forwarded to his new address. Now I haven’t received my mail in over three weeks.

Never know anyone to go to lunch for 1.5 hours and closed on Saturday far as the post office,won't even pick up the phone,just a disappointment and wow for what a postal box cost,Really?

How exactly does a comoany function only actually working 6 hours a day? They find any and all reason to close, and when they are open they are clueless. Let private companies deliver the mail and see how fast this changes...

I have the informed delivery app which tells me what I will be getting in the mail that day. Thursday I was to have received 5 pieces of mail one of which was very important!! It is now Saturday and I still do not have it. Our old mail carrier was straight. These new ones they are just hiring off the street are shady.

Got a text on a Friday at 5:00 pm from USPS that my Amazon package was undeliverable to my name and address, although I have been living here seven years, and that the package was being returned to Amazon. The Post Office here in McLeansville, NC closes at 4:30 pm on Friday, and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Couldn't contact them, so, I tried to contact the USPS phone # that Amazon gives, and that turned into a 1/2 hour computer voice/multiple choice nightmare. While hanging up that call I heard a vehicle turn into our driveway and went out to see what was up. USPS was pulling up to my front door. It turns out our regular driver was on vacation, and her replacement apparently up and quit today. The McLeansville Postmaster came by in a USPS vehicle to deliver my package and mail, and going on to deliver packages and mail to other people, herself. At 5:30 pm on a Friday, with miles to go before she rests. That is commitment, and it was greatly appreciated! Thank you!

They have mail delivered to them from the Sedalia P O and they send it back and it results in delays of up to 3-4 weeks of us getting mail or packages and Sedalia P O is only 5 minutes away from them! No regards for the customers of other P O. Very frustrated and upset!

There is always a problem with this post office. I think it needs to be investigated. Packages from Amazon or other vendors get delivered but NEVER THROUGH USPS. The last time I sent a package, it was opened and the contents scattered. Luckily she got them but it was clear someone had tampered with it because I sealed it extremely well. THIS TIME SHE NEVER GOT HER PACKAGE.
