Terrible staff. No cashier lanes all self checkout, when having to help extremely rude

I don’t know what stick their employees have up their arse but they shouldn’t be allowed to take it out on employees. The self check out lady with a Mohawk is extremely rude unprovoked constantly. And the bakery lady being rude when you ask a question. What’s going on?

First time visiting the store, did not know it was there. It's nice a little pricey on some things. Thanks to a president tarffis. They have what a gourmet cook would need in the kitchen 😋

A huge shout out to Elise and the other wonderful folks in the Lowes Foods Mebane bakery department who keep making these marvelous triplet cake creations (pictured is an ice cream sundae that they made for Father's Day). Thank you so much for the smiles that you all put on our faces!

I have recently visited this location a few times on week days with good experience. I was going to purchase some chicken from the delli but no one was interested in waiting on a customer so I left without making a purchase.
Just a reflection of the times. I will just grocery shop here only in the future only.

I am sitting in the parking lot of Lowe’s grocery and am just appalled! I go to Lowe’s because of the great quality and customer service. Today I had a large grocery list for the holiday and went to check out, it was slow. There were three lanes open and I was the only one checking out. A young gentleman named Colin checked me out. He was great! Very kind, but there were 5-6 other employees standing around chatting, on their phones, showing each other pictures on their phones etc. poor Colin was scanning produce and having to stop when the belt was full, bag and then go back to scanning. Not a single person came to help!!!! I finally jumped in and started bagging the groceries for him, you could tell he was uncomfortable with me doing that but didn’t say anything. However, even after I started bagging the groceries STILL no employee standing around offered to help, they just continued chatting and playing of their phones etc. I literally counted SIX of them just in the check out area and not a single offer to help Colin. I asked him if this was normal behavior, no teamwork. He was very uncomfortable and just struggled his shoulders. Absolutely ridiculous! I want to state I have absolutely no problem helping bag my own groceries but this was not the issue.

I don’t leave reviews often, but at this point I’m annoyed with Lowes. I have primarily shopped here since moving to Mebane 5 years ago. Over the past 1.5 years, I have had at least 4 separate encounters where I have purchased meat (chicken in particular) and once opened, it had a foul rotten smell. It seems that they are either not storing the meat properly or placing the wrong dates on the meat packages. Moving forward Lowe’s will not get any more of my money.

Really enjoyed my experience today. The associates in the Meat dept this evening were very personable. They also have a great sense of humor. If you haven't already, you definitely need to try the smoked salmon. It's Amazing!!!

The catering service was awesome, twice. I waited to rate the Lowes Catering services until we had placed two orders. Both orders were consistent in the quantity and quality. Our first order was to feed about 20, and the fried chicken was awesome, it received a 15 Baptist Preacher approval.
Our second event, a week ago, was for about 35. We had the 48 pc fried chicken and chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese, and the fruit platter. Once again, the chicken was awesome, and the fruit was fresh. I received many compliments about the food that actually go to the Lowe's kitchen staff.
The hot food comes in covered metal trays and boxed to keep warm and for no spills.
Call a few weeks ahead to get the pickup time slot you want. Call a day or so before just to double-check your order and time.
Lastly, if you can feed a large group at a better price with great quality, there is no need to tell me because I am am going back to Lowes Food in Mebane.

Lowes is a very clean store that is well-laid out. It has helpful staff, pleasant atmosphere and great variety of selections.

My 70 year old mother went in today to purchase a special being advertised online only to be told they were all out, sorry. Wasn’t offered a solution but rather an insult. An easy fix would have been to honor the special and give a coupon for when then product was back in stock or a replacement. She was treated very rudely by the store manager instead.

Was grabbing some veggies. Nate asked if we were finding everything okay and we were in need of toothpicks. He walked all the way to the other side to show us. 10/10 service. Give homie a raiseSelf check out wasn't working but they rang us up at the cigarette register and apologized for the inconvenience. Customer service here is just chefs kiss
