They had a deal were you buy 10 bags of Diamond Dog food,and get the 11th free.I was driving all the way from lexinton nc to continue this after I moved.The last time I went in there to claim my 11th bag free.The manager or whoever checked just rolled her eyes and told me they were having issues with that promotion.I asked if I would ger my 1qth bag for free? She said we'll I should be...I went back, and they gave me the same spill that their system was having trouble with that promotion....I said okay, and left ..I will never go back!

I love going to pet sense here in mebane tge staff is always friendly but today I was a little bothered. I have a rewards account and have used it every time I go in however the staff especially tge assistant managers don't know the first thing about it. I myself have been in retail for 17 years and we have a rewards program as well. When you shop you earn points and get coupons. My whole staff is trained on how to sign people up and when customers have questions regarding their account they are able to help them. I asked the young lady today and she said No on had trained them on it. I then proceeded to ask for her managers name she said I'm the assistant manager and my managers name is Angie. I am disgusted on not only the lack if knowledge and training but the fact when I asked for her help with finding out about the program for me she said I'm not sure I can. WHAT.. REWARDS HERE ARE A JOKE!!!

The store is nice, lots of options to choose between 😊 the service is alright. I will revisit again if I’m in the Mebane area. Definitely wouldn’t be my first choice.

I usually like this Petsense alright. Everything seems a bit pricey, but that's okay if no one else immediately has what I need. Last year (2024), this location began selling fish. Not the first place I'd buy a fish from, but I looked around. And then I turned the corner and found these beautiful creatures in an absolutely APALLING amount of water. I know bettas are housed in small containers at stores and that's bad enough. But this? Just horrible! I sure hope they are educating their customers on PROPER care of bettas, like a minimum 5 gallon tank, filter, heater, plants when possible.... but I have little hope that they are, given that these fish are in 1 cup (often less) of water. PLEASE DO BETTER!

5/7/2024 Added note: They respond to reviews to make it seem like they will make things right….. when you email them, they email back with no result.
I’ve taking my yorkie in a few times for a hair cut/nail cut and smoothed. The first time, Teressa did an amazing job. The next time we went, Teressa was gone so we gave the other groomers a chance. The hair cut was awful. I then just groomed my dog myself for several months. Last week I was buying dog food and seen that they had new groomers. We made an appointment and got my yorkie in that week. We asked for a teddy bear hair cut. When returning to pick her up, her hair was still long and her face was NOTICEABLE uneven. When getting home, we noticed her nails were not even cut on one of her paws and it didn’t even look like she smoothed her nails after cutting them. That was a big waste of $79.

Victoria was my dog's favorite groomer to trim my dog's nails. She is no longer there. I expect groomers to be patient, while cutting my dog's nails and don't like when they cut too close! I buy dog food there, but prices are high on most products.

I come here time to time. Only place I can seem to find dog treats my dog can eat because of his food allergies but going home and finding animal hair in my bag is just nasty. Yall need to do better.
