Every time I go there the employees are extremely rude and unhelpful. They’ll legit ignore you when you ask for help or make you feel like you’re bothering them.

Tried to visit the store at 10:55am. The website said it would be open from 10am-8pm. The store is closed. No one is inside and it's almost 11am. Please post accurate operation hours so people don't waste their gas.

More than a few of our hair tools have been misplaced so I headed to Sally for texturizing shears, cutting shears and a new clippers for my BF. I didn’t know what he wanted in a clipper and Sally has tons of choices so Zowie, the most fabulous employee ever offered to help. I was taking up too much of her time as other customers also came to shop so I read all the available literature on the shelf. Finally , and over an hour later I decided which clippers to buy, and Zowie offered her expertise so I left the store very happy. Zowie was a wowie- I recommend her and her cosmetology skills to everybody- pro or at home-amateur. This Sally store and Zowie made for a great experience!

WHERE IS MS. SHELLEY?! I really miss the old workers there, Pre-covid. There were some there after opening up that were great too, but after them the staff has been rude and snobby. I dont know who the new management is but they might want to check that issue. I used to shop there loyally, now I just find other beauty supply stores.

Went into this store and the counter is right at the door. I would have expected to be spoken to upon entrance. But instead the trans boy at the register proceeded to just keep his head down and not acknowledge me. Thank you for your lack of kind courteous customer service at this location. Maybe you need to let your workers know to greet every customer. Without your customers you would have no job.

I’d really like to praise Oak & Mads for their eagerness to help a customer and make the process that isn’t so simple, so easy! There wasn’t one step in the process of bleaching and dying that they missed! I really appreciate them expressing concern for the health of my hair and recommending products from their experiences, they were extremely helpful! As good employees are harder and harder to find, I hope to see them every visit as they made my experience with Sally Beauty so pleasant! I’ll definitely recommend this location and the products they helped me find! I appreciate them offering the opportunity to have a credit card with Sally’s as well, although I declined, they were extremely easy to talk to and follow procedure thoroughly. Really lucky to have employees that support the business and care about the customer, thanks so much again!!

I just had a fantastic experience here on 11/21. The lady who was working by herself was extremely nice, professional, and greeted every single customer that walked in there. She knows her products and the specials going on and makes sure all the customers know as well. First time here and since I just moved to the area I know exactly where I will be getting my hair care supplies. 10/10 experience!

Miss Shelly is so nice, helpful, and encouraging... I usually go in knowing what I would like to accomplish but having little to no knowledge of how...Miss Shelly listens, and makes suggestions, and her "can do" attitude is infectious.... highly recommend

Randomly closes for “lunch”. It is currently 1:37 pm and they are closed until 2:15 despite their listed hours being open from 11-6. I cannot spend money at an unstable place of business. That is why I will no longer purchase my beauty needs from Sally’s in Mebane. Do yourself a favor and either find another location that will honor their posted hours or find another supplier all together.

Bought a wax kit a month ago w no issue. Came back to buy my mom one and she went to use it and it had no wax sticks inside. Brought it back to see about getting some or doing an exchange and the woman who helped us was blatantly rude. She said go get some sticks and I’ll just give them to you. I grabbed 100 packs which is all they sell and she says “I hope you realize you’re not getting all those for free” and I said I didn’t ask for them for free, I asked for what comes with it he kit, which I didn’t receive. She then proceeds to count each individual stick from another box to compare and with attitude gives me the ones from the other kit with a very condescending tone. Just because i’m young doesn’t mean I tolerate that kind of behavior from someone older than me. I’m a paying customer and I deserve to be treated as such. I will now be taking my business elsewhere.
