New to town & they did a horrific job both times! I gave them a second chance as maybe the first visit was a one-off, but nope. The second time I had an appt and, after 45 minutes of my fingers soaking while I waited, I finally asked for just somebody to do at that point. My fingers were burning by then! I will never go again nor recommend them.

My husband and I had pedicures and Elizabeth and T were wonderful! They were very friendly, took their time, made sure my nails were perfect, and gave great massages. We went on a Thursday afternoon and it was packed, which is a great sign. They didn’t cut us and we felt that the store was very clean. They have a lot of options of manicures and pedicures. Even if there’s a line, it’s definitely worth the wait!
Requested style: They listen to what you want
Cleanliness: Floors and chairs are clean and they have new liners for every use
Stylist: Very professional, even when their customers are rude

Honestly so disappointed. I finally had some time to have some time to myself I’m a full time mom of a 6 month old. I called first to get an appointment , they told me no appointment necessary and to just come up there, so I did. I drove 30 mins up there, the man greeted me, told me to pick my color out and then told me to sit down at one of the tables… well 25 mins goes by then 15 more mins and I’m still sitting there alone nothing happening, next thing you know someone comes in and they sit down and they get taken care of before me! Didn’t offer me a drink or an update at all. I told the guy I wasn’t happy and left. This is exactly why I wanted an appointment. Just so disappointed I was looking forward to some time to get my nails done.

My daughter treated me to a pedicure for my birthday so we decided to visit Uptown Nail. They greeted us as soon as we walked in then we were seated quickly. Offered us both a bottle of water. I have never experienced a hot stone massage before but it was part of the pedi process. Let me say it was wonderful! Soothing atmosphere and comfy chairs make for a relaxing time. Our nail techs did an awesome job! My feet pictured below are ready for spring sandals! Coming back to see you all soon!

I was looking for a nail salon that didn't have TV's everywhere or loud, obnoxious music. I was so pleased that this salon has a very nice and relaxing environment as well as simple nature music. I received a pedicure and Vicki did a great job! She was friendly and competent. The prices are extremely reasonable...I was amazed. I asked her when is the best time to come as far as being less crowded; she said between opening at 10:00 and 1:00. I had an appointment at 4:00. I will definitely be going back!!!!

They have a lot of people working and the wait isn't generally bad. Doesn't matter if you make an appt because there are walk ins. They NEVER have new colors and only seem to stock SNS but I heard them tell two people they were out of the color they wanted.

Mae was incredible! My nails look so good! I always get dip nails and they tend to come out thick…. Mae’s technique of making them look more natural is impressive and JUST what I’m looking for. She is quite talented and really fun to talk to!!Make an appointment because walk ins tend to be a bit of a wait BUT there’s a reason ….This place is worth the wait. My friend recommended this salon and now I’m recommending it too!!

Now, I’m really seeing what other customers are saying about the poor customer service! I have been coming here for years. Even when I lived in Chapel Hill, I would come here to get my pedicures. But I have noticed lately the customer service is terrible and they are no longer friendly! I walked in today, 11/15/23 and it wasn’t busy. The nail technicians was all sitting in the pedicure chairs, chilling and nobody would speak. Finally, someone asked what I wanted and the only reason I didn’t walkout is because I need to use my $5 off coupon. But this will be my last time coming in here! In search of another nail salon that appreciates their customers! If you’re looking for good customer service, then this is definitely not your place! And Mr. James customer service has changed as well! I’m use to his wife not being friendly, but he’s acting the same way!!

I would NEVER recommend this place - waited SO LONG to be served even though we had an appt, an attitudinal nail tech who should get out of the service industry, and a bill that was shocking. This was about 4 weeks ago, but every time my thin nails ache, I regret going to this place. (Did they file too hard?! I don't know.)Here's the long version: About a week before my son's wedding, I booked an appt for 3 family members. We arrived on time, but were kept waiting for almost an hour. I guess appointments don't really matter at all. (I wondered at the time if she even took my name. She did not ask for my phone number.)The place was crowded, and it was very confusing to us - was I supposed to follow the nail tech, to where? Was my niece supposed to follow her? Which seat? Was she even talking to me?The girl who applied my polish at first did a *terrible* job. Just regular paint, and there were thin spots or thick spots of paint on different fingers. When I asked her to fix it, she basically said "no" b/c it'll settle when it dries. Uh, no. I was about twice her age and didn't just fall off the turnip truck.... I've had paint on my nails a million times. So I complained! We'd waited too dang long, and my son's wedding was the next day! Geez. The man who came over to assist was very nice and ended up upselling me to gel paint. He did a pretty good job. My daughter had a Mani/Pedi, and I had the gel polish on my fingers, and the bill was $130 or $135, I can't remember for sure, but I paid $150 with the tip. This seemed VERY high, but maybe that was the going rate for that area of town.

This is the best place ever to get your nails and toes done! Very professional, prompt and friendly staff! These nails are S & S and were done September 8th and today is November 18th! Amazing

As a walk in they will tell you that they can accommodate you, they will say pick out a color a place you in a chair. However then you wait a loooong time. This has happened to me twice when I have walked in and said do you have availability for sns and pedicure. They won't ever say no because they're afraid to loose the business but in reality just say your busy. I'll go run other errands and come back at the time you can fit me in. So your fear of honesty has now actually cost you a customer.
