I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review for a post office but Johnnie that works here is a saint and helped me find everything I needed to ship out some incredibly bulky shoes, so—here’s 5 stars for Johnnie but really should be 10 and a Chick-fil-a sandwich.

I needed help shipping an item and the staff were very informative and helpful. I believe the nice lady that helped me was Gwenna (I don't quite remember her name, sorry!) and she even fixed my label for me.

I went in just before the lobby closed. I didn’t realize this. I thought they closed at noon. I apologized for coming in at closing time. I said I needed to purchase tape to finish securing my package. I said do I have time for that? He said if you can do it in 2 minutes. He wasn’t joking and appeared very annoyed. Very poor customer service.

My package had to be signed to be delivered to me but i failed to since i wasn’t home. I later then scheduled a redelivery with additional instructions saying “check the mailbox for the receipt” and the person delivering my package failed to do so and marked it as “no signature” again. I emailed the office and they gave me a call back. The person on the phone was named darrel and he basically helped me out by saying he’ll leave a note and calmed me down from the entire situation. i later call the store this morning to make sure they saw his note and they indeed did and now have the package in a delivery van. DARREL IS AMAZING! 10/10 customer service.

I rarely use the Mebane post office as my office is located at Graham. The Graham post office has been extremely well-run for years. A few years ago, I had the misfortune to deal with a very nasty employee of the Mebane Post Office who deliberately went out of his way to be unprofessional, rude, and even physically confrontational to me and other customers when we needed assistance and were in line at closing time, which happened to be at 4:30pm on a weekday. (In my experience, most post offices close at 5pm on weekdays and the early closing time was a surprise). I had to use the Mebane Post Office on Thursday 6/13/24 at @ 4:25 pm and had completely forgotten that they close at 4:30pm. The folks there stayed after 4:30pm to help me with a stack of 8 separate certified mails. They were very polite and helpful. Much appreciated. Hopefully the guy who was such a jerk and a bully has either moved on or retired. 5 stars and a big THANK YOU! to the nice ladies at the Mebane Post Office who helped me on 6/13/24.

Sent a card with a check in it to Georgia. It took 2 months for it to get there. Don’t know if it was Mebane or Georgia, but the service sucks!

I work at an apartment complex in Mebane. Our postal worker ripped all the Christmas lights off at out Mail center. She is on camera doing so. They are not touching the doors or impeding her job at all. So why did she rip them off and throw them in the trash. That's destruction of property. I will speak with her manager

This is the first time I’ve gone to USPS with a large amount of packages and none of the employees were angry or complained about it. Rafael and Johnnie were super nice and kind!

Overall the experience has been well out of the 9 years living in Mebane. I give 4 stars bc I'm signed up to receive a email daily of the mail I'm to receive that day and sometimes I won't get my mail until the following day.
