I would give zero stars if I could. FedEx in the Asheville area is terrible! Our story is very similar to the other one stars. The item we needed Monday was out on the truck for delivery each day this week and then taken back to the Fletcher facility. There is no excuse for this. Today is Friday and we finally went and picked it up ourselves. This is not the first time we have not received FedEx packages.

I had a device from at&t be overnight shipped from ft worth texas. Made it to Fletcher just fine overnight. Scheduled delivery was for the 18th. It is now the 21st and it's still not here and I can't even get thru to a person to figure out what on earth is going on with my package.
Update 7/25/25
Still zero progress. I called on the 22nd and had a support ticket created but no progress has been made with that. Still haven't recieved my $600 package and I can't even get an answer as to why I'm not receiving it. I'm starting to think someone has stolen it

I had to stop getting meal delivery kits because of this FedEx. Additionally, I had a package with glass in take 7 weeks to be delivered, and the glass shattered.

Once again, FedEx has delivered less than stellar service.
I was supposed to receive a bed that shipped from Virginia Beach on July 11th, with an estimated delivery date of July 14th. It sat in a distribution site near Greensboro, NC, all weekend, then arrived at the Fletcher, NC, facility at 6:23 AM today (7/14) —yet FedEx refuses to deliver it today simply because it’s not “guaranteed.”
Additionally, I’m not permitted to contact the local facility directly to make arrangements. This is far from the first time FedEx has dropped the ball—they’ve lost packages, delivered to the wrong address, and repeatedly failed to meet delivery timelines.
I expect better from a national carrier, and I’m incredibly disappointed in the lack of customer service and accountability.

drivers that deliver are always on there phones with head sets, taklking away to whom every, taking there time, watching my dogs fight dropping the package to provoke them to fight more, while i am trying to get the the door and and control the dogs.

We paid a lot extra to have it sent overnight priority and 3 days later they are saying it still might not come. Have not had a good experience yet. Tracking said it was out for delivery all day today but the driver brought it back to the distribution center.
Update: after spending hours on the phone they put a hold on the package for the next day so we could pick it up ourselves. When we drove 35 minutes to get there we were informed that even though they put a hold on the package, that the delivery driver had taken it onto his truck again. We are now waiting for the driver to return with our incredibly time sensitive documents that we needed days ago. I have not ever experienced a company with more ineptitude.

Every time I order something the package is driven around all day and never delivered. I order meal delivery boxes so they’re stuck in a hot vehicle all day!

Sorriest business I've had the misfortune of dealing with had one of the drivers stuck behind in field yes I said behind my neighbors house in mud stuck ,her driveway is in front of house lol cops came and arrested him for what I don't know but his delivery van full of our packages was stuck in mud where had no business being for hours my packages went to mills river then to Georgia then back to mills river but still wasn't delivered to me until 3 days after they said was out for delivery ps only now after saying billing did I talk to human and the automated was same responses just don't use FedEx unless you don't need your item. Have you all noticed that fedex sucks big time ,drivers and down to package handlers,even the supposed telephone agents just walk to who you bought item from and it would probably be faster even if you live in California and pkg is from india lmao
