The very WORST produce. They have produce that most grocery stores would not sell. I only shop there now for the bakery. Very sad.

PHARMACISTS: AMANDA, COURTNEY, KELSEY possibly all involved in conspiracy to prevent me from using insurance due to unlawful & unethical discrimination.**CLOSE MINDED & UNEDUCATED PHARMACY MANAGEMENT***ILLEGAL/UNETHICAL PILL POLICING*LONG REVIEW SKIP TO THE BOTTOM FOR TL;DR:Buprenorphine/naloxone is a newer medication on the market. It is mostly used in addiction recovery therapy. This life-saving medication is something the pharmacy staff doesn’t understand. I believe her name is Courtney, but they hung up when I asked for their name. They also would not give it to my doctor when they called the pharmacy either. This medication prevents the user from getting high on opiates, and removes all symptoms of withdrawal. Having somebody use this medication, who is in active withdrawal from opiates, could prevent them from taking a large dose of drugs and accidentally ending their life. This is why it’s prescribed to people in recovery from opiate addiction, which is a mental health problem, not a moral failing. That is according to the latest edition of the DSM (The Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental health disorders). This medication has saved my life, and on days where it’s difficult or I just have had something bad happened; I was told by my doctor that I am allowed to take extra if I feel that I need it. I always communicate this with my Prescribing doctor correctly. In a truly surprising display of spiteful ignorance, the leadership at this pharmacy told me that I had to get my medicine re-authorized by my insurance at the beginning of the year. I was told it was just some thing run-of-the-mill and that I would need to wait a week. This was not true for the other prescriptions I picked up that day, they’re all prescribed by the same doctor and the insurance worked just fine for everything except the one.I proceeded to tell the pharmacist that I would use good RX, and just pay out-of-pocket despite the exorbitant cost, due to me not having time to pick it up over the weekend to have for the next week of work. I also felt bad asking my fiancé to go pick it up because he almost always has to do that because of my work schedule. He had something going on so I just want to take a look at myself. I just wanted to get it that day, the same day I went to my doctor and got it prescribed, for my own convenience. I had to take the day off to have that doctors appointment and the pharmacy is usually closed by the time I get off and not open at the time I go in.Well after I tell them that I’m just going to pay out of pocket this is when they tell me that it’s too early and that’s why I can’t pick it up. Basically exposing themselves as liars right to my face by changing the reason for not allowing me to pick it up. Then they double down on this when I had my doctor call them and tell them they had to fill it. They decided to tell my doctor that they were going to have to get approval from my insurance for every refill of this medication that I would be getting from them in the future. I told my doctor that they needed to “watch out for me” Which is completely insane because you can’t even abuse the drug. I’ve been on this medication since 2019 and have been sober since 2019. My doctor knows this so they had my back, and they also let me know that what the pharmacy was telling them was completely false and untrue.I will re-post this review every time I see it taken down, as this pharmacy could cause somebody to lose their life. I would like to add that I will be taking my doctors advice and promptly leaving this pharmacy before my next refill. In summary, a life-saving life-changing medication that my doctor told me I was allowed to get filled that day was refused to fill from the pharmacy due to them not understanding it and thinking that I’m abusing it which is not even possible. I had to call my doctor to get them to force the pharmacy to fill it in they told my doctor a bunch of crazy lies about me and insurance. Thankfully my doctor had my back, and the Publix Pharmacy Pill Policing Ghouls had to comply.

This place usually has the best subs in town way better than Subway or Firehouse subs, but not anymore. The little old lady working with the subs cannot speak English and got everything on my sub messed up. It took her 20 minutes to make each sub and did not understand what I was saying. This is a problem by the time she got to the second sub she was so confused and I paid for her mistakes. This is front line position and she needs to speak or at least understand English. I think the gentleman working with her in the Deli may be a relative because he always fills in and just to her defence when she gets behind which is often. I purchase these subs often but she has made it a losing battle. I have to use sign langue to communicate .She should not be there. This has hurt Publix reputation and customer service is rare because she just does not understand. Something needs to be done. Not a Happy Camper and .Employees need to speak English. I used to love Publix but now the deli is a little Mexico and I do not speak Spanish. Regretfully

I have gone to Publix pharmacy my whole life and have always had exceptional customer service in Fort Mill, Columbia, and Charleston however Mint Hill hired a new person by the name of Amanda and she always has an unnecessary attitude for no reason. Don’t be rude to customers. I am in a medical program I get it’s exhausting but be nice!

Just got the Italian sub and will not make this mistake again. No flavor and very little meat. Jersey Mike's is my go to and I'll be back there next time I'm looking for a sandwich. Thanks for nothing Publix

I ordered a birthday cake for my son through Publix in Mint Hill, NC. I am uploading a picture of what the design was supposed to look like and I am uploading a picture of what I received. My husband picked up the cake on Friday afternoon, looked at the cake, and asked if they were sure that was what I ordered, they assured him it was. When he arrives at home and proceeds to show me what we received I was appalled. I called Publix immediately and was told, they do "their best" and "they're not professionals" and I could bring the cake back and they would see if they could fix it. This was 1 hour prior to my sons birthday party and there was NO way I would have time to drive 30 minutes back to Publix for them to try and fix it. My major compliant is if you're unable to complete a design, that you advertise, contact the customer and let them know! This cake was close to $80 and was no where close to being worth that. I will never order another cake from Publix and I want to make sure everyone else is aware of how I was treated and what product we received.

The weirdest grocery store i have ever been in. Every section in the store is miss placed. Paper products is across from beer. Toilet paper is not in the paper product isle it is another aisle. Candy was across from milk and bread, fruit was across from wine, and prices that should have been lower for their name brand items. No organic meats, medicines for children, or variety of items in various sections. I understand the fried chicken is great and so are there sandwiches. Unfortunately, I was trying to help a sick child, feed my bride, and eat healthy. Go to the Harris Teeter!

There many manufacturers of generic medications and not and secure other sources is in my opinion malpractice. This has happened repeatedly with this pharmacy. Yet, Walgreens, Sam’s and CVS has it.

Most of my experiences are good here. Actually some are excellent in particular with a young African American pharmacist. I don't know his name but he has great customer service and is friendly and professional.

Thank you so much to the pharmacist and the floor associate at Publix Pharmacy for their help while I was unexpectedly coughing my head off on Monday afternoon. I appreciate the glass of water and lollipop which helped a lot. Hugs and wishing you all a very Happy Christmas!
