I have been banking here for 13 years, I started with Blair that always listened and guided me on how to improve things financially. I have recently started communication with Lindsay Alsharid that also listened and is guiding me on how to improve things financially. I cannot express enough the kindness and respectful communication they have both provided. I also have to give accolades to Angie the teller that always has a warm welcoming smile and always helps very quickly when in line. Superior Customer Service across the board!

ADAM & KOURTNIE are amazing. Kourtnie helped open my account there years ago and Adam just recently helped us with multiple things that I can't even name all of them.They have helped us tremendously with buying our 1st home, re-financing, credit consolidation, IRA transfers, Life Insurance.. I literally wouldn't trust anyone else except them when it comes to anything to do with a bank :)

Done this review a couple of times. Pros are the gentleman with glasses, cannot remember his name ever, is always very quick and friendly. Whenever I am waited on by him I am thoroughly impressed by the location. This bank itself has low rates, overdraft fees are $12 if that is a concern of yours. One dollar monthly fee but cannot remember why. Cons are do not do the FatCat account for your child unless you make sure they tell you if you can actually take money out or not, regardless of the normal $25 minimum for savings that you have to keep in the bank at all times I believe it’s similar for FatCat as well. When we opened one they didn’t tell us and daughter was very upset.

I would just like to say my review DOES NOT reflect on the tellers but on the people who open accounts in the offices. First experience, about 6 months ago, my husband and I needed to do a cash advance. The female specialist took almost a hour and a half doing that and then did not get him access to that account online. It was to improve his credit score, at her advice, while paying the loan down a little at a time and paying a certain amount every check. Supposedly that would help with getting a credit card with him because he needs to show revolving credit. That didn't work. Then I opened a FATCAT account for my daughter, opened with $10.00 (opening cost only $5.00) but wasn't told that when she reached $25.00 that it had to remain in there. Also wasn't told that $1000 in life insurance is included with her account. Today, after she finally wanted to spend just $6.00 of HER MONEY, she couldn't because it would take her UNDER THE $25.00 AMOUNT! I am LIVID! She wasn't handed that money, she EARNED IT. She should be able to access it, should she choose, because I am trying to teach her how to save and about responsible spending. That's why that account is there; for kids to learn by making mistakes or not. Not for NCSECU to TAKE AND HOLD THEIR MONEY and then the associate having the audacity of NOT TELLING US! We didn't get the paperwork on the restriction until AFTER SIGNING! BEWARE!

This specific branch has no one available to speak with regarding anything of importance. Save your time and call any other branch. Ever since Adam left this branch it has been a horrible experience anytime you ever need any questions answered. You ask to speak with anyone with any clue what's going on with your financials and the answer always is "they are out" or "they wont be back till some other day". I went from asking to speak to branch manager, to second in command, to even a "third in command" - NONE could be found. Bad business! Moving over to another financial institution - the rates are no longer great like they used to be anyways.

Went in to sign paperwork for a loan and representative was very rude and seemed as if she was taking her time on purpose. I pray it is not the case but if we were white I think she would have been more friendly. We were informed that we were to just come in and sign the paperwork from another teammate with her bank. A simple phone call or the simple fact that it was from the same bank should have been fine. We informed her that we were in a rush to get to the shop before it closed but she still took her time. With no reguard to the fact that we were in a time crunch. Thanks to you Mrs. Alsharid for the excelent customer service.

Was told very rudely by male teller with attitude problem that next time I have to come inside if I want to deposit change Cannot do at drive thru .I only gave him 3 quarters ,2 dimes and a nickel.The rest was cash. Did not know banks didn't accept change .If I knew it was that serious I would have taken my infant and 2yr old inside to make alot of noise and run every where. While I talked to teller to make a 5min transaction at drive thru but takes 20 mins inside plus getting kids in and out. I can see if I had rolled coins or more than this. Ridiculous. But you can give me change back no problem. Way to go for working with moms on the go!. I didn't say anything about it then because I realized when I drove off he was being a p**** and I didnt want to wake my little one up to go inside and stoop to his level.so you will get a poor review thanks to poor experience.

If you are a State Employee, there is no better bank. Low interest on home and car and very friendly staff.
