Some things to know about Goodwill. They are a for-profit company. You drop off free inventory to them and then they price it how they will and they get all the profit. Yes, you can do a tax write-off but how many people really do that at the end of the year? Next, you only have 7 days to return any clothes items. Goodwill does not have fitting rooms. You pretty much have to buy the clothes so you can go home and try them on. Their return policy is that you will not be refunded, you get a Goodwill gift card. Thirdly, if you buy something in a different area or state and need to return it at a different store, Goodwill cannot accept the return because it is not in their district. So Goodwill is not Goodwill as in one general company. I would have to go all the way back to the area/ store I bought the item from to return it.

I stopped by this store for my first time while in the area, and the young man Jaylen was very professional and helpful. He greeted everyone and made sure that you felt welcomed into the store. It’s very clean and organized. I found quite a few things that were new and some gently used. I will tell everyone about this store and Jaylen

My favorite goodwill is the albemarle location but after my second visit to this Monroe location I’m not so sure. We have a competition! When I seen Jaylen it felt like I was shopping at a family store. The store was clean, there were good finds, great prices, and a lot of laughs. I met an associate named Jake that not only handled my transaction with care & kindness but he also made my experience feel human instead of just a business transaction. I didn’t get the pleasure of meeting the young lady, Fab, personally but that’s only because she was hard at work organizing & making sure the store was in tip top shape for closing. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Lots of things to select. Dont expect staff to speak or say thank you. The guy running the register didnt even look at the people in line or bag our items. It was weird compared to the Charlotte locations where they are friendly

Terrible store, nothing is by size only colors. Another waste of time. Please get new managers who do not label clothes this way. The color coated hangers don't mean size either. This isn't helpful to the consumer. I was told it works better for their cashier but yet I'm the one spending money here!!!
