I recently shopped at PopShelf and unfortunately had a horrible experience. A simple misunderstanding turned into an extremely uncomfortable moment because of the way one of the store employees spoke to me. Instead of helping clarify the issue, she talked down to me in a degrading manner, as if I was beneath her, which was completely uncalled for.
The store is filled with clearance and discount signs, so I asked a question at the register to make sure I understood the pricing correctly. Instead of answering professionally, the worker responded in a mimicking, almost condescending tone—as if I were a child. It was disrespectful and incredibly disappointing.
Because of the way I was treated, I don’t think I’ll ever shop at this location again. No customer should be made to feel that way over something so simple.

Due to recent changes & events within the store I have decided to change my review. Miss management & poor communication from Upper management and better customer care is needed.

You guys need to update your hours online when you alter them. This is the second time I have come to this store when it is supposed to be open and it is not. A hand written sign on the door is not helpful, after I drove out of my way to come here. It is very easy to change your hours online for a specific event.

It’s 7:30p and the doors are locked with no one there. Sign and google say they close at 9p. Called the Matthews location and was told that their manager and asst manager both quit without notice so they have no one to open the store. Wish someone would update google. Drove 25 mins to get here.

I love shopping here, its never crowded or busy which is why I always go. The workers are always nice and always greet you when you walk in. They will always help you if you need help. The items here are always cute and not expensive.

Every balloon that we got on Saturday evening, deflated by Sunday morning, and we kept them in a cool house. Very frustrating.
