“Some of these comments are so out of line. I came here a couple of years ago while visiting Mooresville from Los Angeles and I found the most AMAZING deals. You are complaining about the prices???? Whatever....I call BS. Where else can you find 75% off deals? I found the most interesting things and thought the prices were MORE than fair. Come thrift shopping in L.A. if you want to complain about sticker shock. I got tops and shorts and dresses for next to nothing. I had to spend some time looking but it was packed full of treasures and the thrill was in the hunt. I also got 5 lovely watches for under 15 dollars. The staff were polite, kind and helpful. Quit complaining and count your blessings. You've all been spoiled by dirt cheap prices and lovely sales people. Come thrifting in L.A. sometime. Talk about rude employees!!! I guarantee that you will appreciate the STEALS you get here, and for the love of Mary, quit your griping. Good Lord. Thank you to all of the VV team for showing a west coast girl some good old southern hospitality. I will be back.”

“Always a Great Find!

Each time I visit this Goodwill, I walk away with so many little gems! Because it’s also a donation center, shoppers often get first dibs on new arrivals at very reasonable prices. I’ve been to many Goodwills where the pricing left me speechless—but this location really seems to understand they’re reselling used items, and they price things fairly.

There’s always a good amount of stock, especially in the household section, which is my favorite. The employees are incredibly helpful and have even offered to help carry items to my car when I’ve purchased larger pieces—something I truly appreciate.

My only suggestion would be to post pricing more clearly. Also, there isn’t a dedicated baby section—just a few small racks with baby and toddler clothes mixed in. It’s not a huge deal since the selection is limited, but a little more organization there would go a long way.

Overall, this is one of the better Goodwills I’ve shopped at—and definitely one I’ll keep coming back to!”

“JoAnn helped me tonight in so many ways. It’s was almost the end of her work day, and you would never know. She greeted me like it was 1pm instead of 7:30 pm. Kind and respectful and delighted in the fact that I found some nice items in a short time. JoAnn directed me to the coffee cups which is what I came in for. She found me in a totally different area and reined me in. She also has a nice personality. An asset for Goodwill. I really enjoyed the quick encounter.”

“Mind you, this review is not based on used furniture, appliances, or other household goods. I had gone in with a friend who was looking for used furniture, when I noticed that they had a large selection of used books. Went back by myself and looked through books. Wow! Excellent pricing (way cheaper than online used, you get to actually see condition and no shipping cost.) Bought a handful of hardbacks in excellent condition! My only less than 5 star experience was the the checkout employee who was very nonchalant, but not rude!”
