Aside from being vinegar-based, the meat's texture was just okay. It felt it was a little on the 'sitting too long's side of things. The red sauce was watery and weird to me, but that's just me. Compared to the hundreds of sauces across the country, the red sauce rates low (by me and for me).Fries were nice and crispy.Location was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great food as usual. Staff is on point. Even the Area/District Manager came up and helped during lunch. Still a favorite when we visit the area. Keep up the good work and great food.

Barry is the man!! He was absolutely the best waiter, I’ve never had such excellent service!! We will always come back just to see him! If every Smithfield’s had a Barry, you would be rated the best in the country!

I got the fried chicken Brunswick stew and potato salad. What could be better from a great restaurant chain in the south. I highly recommend both the breast and thigh combination plate.

First attempt at eating at a Smithfield and wasn't happy.Chicken was super greasy and too much salt. It was apparent the they need to change the cooking oil.Fries were also very greasy and super soggy.Bake Beans tasted old.Lastly the potato salad tasted more like mustard than anything else.I spend $32 and all I could eat was the hush puppies...3 hush puppies ended up being my dinner. I'm more upset because I couldn't even give any of the food to my dogs because of the oil and way too much salt. I can only recommend this meal to anyone that is looking to have an instant stoke or heart attack. SMH

They put the fresh in fresh chicken. Absolutely delicious. Service is amazing, their chicken makes bojanges and KFC taste sorry. An absolute must stop if you have never been to Smithfield’s.

Mixed review. Started with my senior father ordering two $6/ea BBQ sandwiches and then asking for a cup of ice. He was charged $1.60 for the cup of ice. Dad (and I) were pretty bothered, so he refused the cup and had it removed. But really, $12 of food and you can't throw in a cup of ice for a senior?I said something like that and that the manager, while walking away grumbled to another employee, "they should have ordered the meal then." Well, we don't know that! Maybe you could have explained the options to us. We're not experts when it comes to your little establishment (and they weren't busy).Someone else who saw what happened privately complained to us that they wanted to charge their (senior) wife for a refill. How dumb to count every nickel ahead of customer satisfaction. I just don't want to come back to a place that wants to nickel-n-dime you. Shortsighted on the manager's part.I don't care for their pulled pork at all, but dad likes it. I did have a fried chicken platter and that was tasty.I will say the employee who received the boss's snarky comeback did make up for some of the unnecessary dissatisfaction by bringing us everything we needed and carting our trash and getting a to-go bag, all w/o us having to ask.
