If I could leave zero stars, I would… Staff is rude and entitled, they don’t understand simple concepts. I truly believe this store needs help.

Carly has been doing my hair for 7-8 years, and I have followed her from salon to salon. She has always exceeded my expectations. Most recently, I purchased my extensions and I feel so beautiful. Carly has always known that I wanted extensions, and I was finally sold on the Ulta brand extensions. Carly precisely and meticulously placed my extensions and I have received so many compliments. She color matched me correctly and did a flawless job with the application of the extensions. I will always follow Carly, as I have been for 7-8 years, because she is amazing and her talent with hair goes way beyond experience. She is the only person I truly trust with my hair. She brings her extensive experience to a high-quality salon and I am thankful for her always! I 10/10 recommend Carly. I’m so glad she is doing hair again:

I go to Carly about every 6-8 weeks for a gloss refresh, occasionally we’ll do some highlights, sometimes a hair cut, sometimes a quick keratin treatment. I’ve gone to Carly for years and she always nails it with my vision! She’s also really good at talking me through inspo pictures and how to tweak the look so it’s most flattering for my face shape, complexion, the season, etc.On the rare occasion that we didn’t get the result I was looking for, Carly is super open to going back and trying again. She’s always been very kind about it.She does a great scalp massage in the shampoo bowl, and we have a ton of fun talking during the appt. On the days that I’m not in the mood to talk, she’s totally good with that too.I highly recommend Carly’s work in the Ulta Salon. I’ve followed her for years and refer folks to her all the time!

I went here about the beginning of November 2023 and they did a horrible job on my hair also I called and went back to get it fixed and they still charged me payed about 300$ to mess up my hair and then they wanted to charge me 70$ again when I went back they made it worse.

Salon experience was a 1. I went in with grown out bleached hair and wanted it dyed dark to match my hair color. Mary didn’t know how to do that and asked 2 people for advice. It was decided she would first dye it copper then dye it brown.She used a light copper the first time and so it didn’t get the color we wanted. She mixed up the correct copper next and that helped. The next issue? She didn’t rinse that copper all the way out before applying the brown. So my hair didn’t get as dark as it needed to. She also let me know she wouldn’t have time to do an anything else because her next client was waiting.Once she realized the brown didn’t take (since the copper was NOT RINSED) she left me with sopping wet hair to have yet another meeting with the others about the mistakes.While she was blow drying my hair I asked for the 2nd girls name. I’d gotten Erin’s name but I hadn’t gotten Carlys name. When I asked for it, Mary, the woman doing my hair, got incredibly upset and accused me of wanting to go to Carly to get my hair done. Then she started chastising my daughter about how it’s alright to ask for help. Because I wanted to know everyone’s name. She went on and on and on. In the end while I was standing there with crispy hair from blow drying hair with dye still in it, I had to console her and make her feel better so she wouldn’t stop badgering my child. It was insane. I apologized to her for asking for staff member names. She didn’t apologize to me for the $210 bill that didn’t get my hair dark brown.I rinsed my hair out at home to get the remainder of the dye out of my hair. I’ll put some dye on it from Sally’s to get my hair dark brown.

Place an order for a product not currently in store, system charged me twice. Once from in store and one not even for the state I am in. Calling the store and customer service center is leading me in loops.

I started going there because I wanted a more relaxed atmosphere when I got my hair done. Big mistake! The booking is always way too tight and not spread out appropriately. I've never relaxed while being there because I'm there way too long which makes it stressful. I end up waiting for other clients to get done. One time I was left with my head in a sink to " let the treatment work" for over an hour. My neck was hurting so much I was on the verge of tears. And the fact that I was in the back sink room by myself and was never checked on really was inconsiderate. The stylist had to do " a quick cut" on a client whose appointment was 30 minutes after mine. That client got done and left before me. While I finally left with neck pain. Last time I was there,with a different stylist, and the same type of thing happened. I literally sat with color in my hair for 90 minutes!!!! 90 minutes so the stylist could work on another client. I feel like I've given them a fair chance but every time, I've had a negative experience. They make appointments that are unrealistic!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I’m getting married on Oct 22. Was having a difficult time finding a makeup artist, and I walked into this store this past April. They did not have an application appointment available for Sunday but the manager at the time has set something up with me in which I can come in on my wedding morning, purchase products, and their Clinique rep will do the application for me. They wrote my contact information in their book and told me I would be contacted three weeks out. Today is 17 days out so I called Ulta to check in only to be informed that BOTH the manager I spoke to as well as the Clinique rep no longer work there and the way it was phrased to me was basically “ I’m sorry they made you that promise but there’s nothing I can do” obviously I’m upset and was requesting that as a business they should do right by their customers (when setting up this appointment both my mom and I had spent a solid amount of money on product) she again told meShe can’t help me and I could drive to new bern the morning of my wedding if I’d like. While I’m explaining it’s not okay to leave a bride hanging like this with no help she hung up on me. Needless to say I will never be going back here ✌️

This is the best Ulta ever!!! The employees are all incredible— super knowledgeable about color principles, how to ensure makeup is lasting, and specifics about products. The store manager is a delight to work with too.The color matching was so good that my mom called me after seeing a picture of me wearing the make up to ask about my foundation! The hair dressers are amazing, and I’ve heard great things about the brow bar. Thank you all for repeatedly giving me such a special Ulta experience!!!

Got my eyebrows shaped, tinted, & laminated by the LOVELY AJ!! Was a bit nervous since I’ve never gotten anything really done to my eyebrows before but she was not only VERY knowledgeable on the entire process and filling me in on what would take place (including after care!) but she was super reassuring, gentle, and kind! The best part for me (asides from my awesome eyebrows!) was the conversation we shared! Her coworkers were super kind and helpful as well! Could not ask for a better experience and outcome! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you AJ!

I had a great experience at this location - i was color matched by Jakkie and she matched my color right away perfectly and also gave me makeup tips. She applied eyeshadow and did my eyebrows before I left and I looked super cute! ill be asking her for help everytime i go now. Ladies at the register were also super friendly.

I really appreciated Jackie and another employee who spent a good amount of time helping me find the perfect foundation after the one I’d been using for years was no longer available. Great customer service!

Super sweet ladies, welcomed me as soon as I came in and complimented me on my outfit. Took care of me right away and made sure I had everything I needed.
