They are understaffed badly, and it takes forever to get a prescription filled. There used to be a lot of employees and suddenly there isn't. The corporation needs to address this asap.

Extremely busy all the time. Drive thru lines. Well stocked merchandise,sales on lots of products.Pharmacy very busy. Personal patient,helpful, understanding.

If I could give it zero stars then I would. My complaint isn't with the store but the pharmacy. They have way too many patients to be accountable for and it makes their customer service terrible. The wait, the attitudes- all bad...

So I had a antibiotic sent into the morganton nc location at 10am and I call them at 230pm to see if it is ready for pick up and the lady on the phone told me that they where really busy and that I would have to come up there and let them know I was there and then they would finally fill my prescription. Very terrible costumer service if you want someone with a contagious sickness to set in lobby to wait on there antibiotics to get other people sick. So I called the rutherford college location to switch my prescription to them and they did and said they would have it within an hour. So if cvs wonders why people are useing other pharmacies this type of situation would be the reason.

Went through the drive through earlier, waited 30 minutes in line. Got to window and they shut down for lunch break. I get it, they get a lunch. Either put a sign out or become more efficient. Most businesses figure out coverage without jeopardizing customer service. So, I go back this evening and evidently drive through attendant having a bad day. Rude and no customer service skills. They chose the job, if it’s not for them then find a new one. Does anyone in a business ever say “thank you” anymore? As expensive as meditation is I could be unhappy too! As well paid as pharmacist are paid, figure out a way to cover lunch breaks. It’s not rocket science! CVS, give an hour training class In how to talk to customers, please. I don’t think,” that doesn’t work for me “ with an attitude would be part of that class. Most people are getting medicine because they feel bad. We don’t need to have to work to make CVS staff happy for doing their jobs.

Horrible experience. I transferred my prescription from Lenoir CVS to this one in the app waited 24 hrs still said in process. Called and the girl that answered was so rude. She would not give me a time it would be ready. She just said show up and we will fill it but it won’t be ready you can wait. 2 days later I showed up and still had to wait. I will not be using CVS pharmacy again.

One lane open for drive thru & only one register open inside...both with lines at least 10 deep. Sat in line at the drive thru for over 30 mins., only to be told prescription was not called in. Called pharmacy this morning, after verifying w/dr's office that it HAD been called in. After waiting on hold for 30 mins, got hung up on by staff. Called back, waited another 15 mins & was then told, rudely, by pharmacy staff there was no prescription & to try Walgreens. Called dr's office & had them move the prescription to another pharmacy. Never dealing with CVS again for prescriptions! They need an adjustment with their staff's "courteous" service.

Hands down THE worst pharmacy in morganton.This review is based solely on the pharmacy.The pharmacist are rude, unprofessional, & take literally forever.Think you’re going to run by here leaving the dr grab your meds & go think again you’ll have to come back out 3-4 hours later.In a hurry they don’t care they will literally give you lip for asking for a ETA.CVS Corprate needs a presence in this store & it shows. I was shocked by how different this cvs is than literally any other I’ve been to across the south East.I left for a year because of their terrible service came back because they’re $10 cheaper.. they’re worse now than before.So don’t be me spend the extra $10 to not have to deal with these nasty folks.

They closed the inside of the pharmacy due to "staffing issues", so everyone was in the drive thru which at this point wrapped around the entire building, and they have 2 lanes but only ever open 1.. my husband got to the pharmacy at 415 to pick up my sick son's medicine, (they closed at 6 this day so we assumed that was plenty of time) waited an hour and 45 minutes for the clock to turn 6 and the pharmacy to immediately close while everyone was still in line and had been for hours. There were still so many people that had been waiting in line long before my husband. For this to be a pharmacy, that was completely unacceptable. Not to mention that because cvs has our insurance on file and the prescriptions had already been run, (these medications would have been free) I had to have them re sent to another pharmacy that was open and ended up having to pay because they couldn't file insurance for the same medicine. Definitely switching pharmacies.

CVS Pharmacy is ridiculous!! We called to see if our prescriptions were ready and we were told they were. I went to pick them up and I was told that one was ready and the other would be 20 minutes or more. I went back later and the inside pharmacy was closed and it was drive thru only. The line was so long because only one side of the 2 lane drive thru was open. CVS Pharmacy sucks!!

Zero stars. Every single time I go here, there’s an issue. They don’t have my meds in stock, they have my information wrong, the meds aren’t filled…always something. Not sure how my personal information could change from one month to the next but that’s what happens frequently. I always mean to switch my prescriptions to another pharmacy, but get side tracked and forget so I know a lot of the frustration is on me for sticking with them. I was hoping they would get their stuff together, but unfortunately it’s just gotten worse. They don’t notify when a prescription is ready. They don’t auto fill even though they’re supposed to. One of my prescriptions was put back because my insurance confused them? LOL. I wish this was a joke but it’s quite literally the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Today was it for me. The Morganton festival is currently happening so I wanted to make sure my prescription was ready before I drove around the entire town just to get there and was told it was on file but hasn’t been filled and that it would be ready in an hour. I get there and they tell me they’re out of stock. No notification or anything. I transferred the meds to a different location and they filled it in less than 15 minutes with amazing customer service. I hate I dealt with all the headaches for so long. AVOID CVS PHARMACY IN MORGANTON.

All my meds are on auto-fill but it's 3 or 4 days later before they are ready. Was told I could come up and wait in store but it could take an hour to an hour and a half to get the refills. That's if the meds are actually in stock. I'm not sure how they got so far behind but it seems like they're not doing anything to get caught up. UNACCEPTABLE CVS. I will be transferring my prescriptions somewhere else.

They fired the pharmacist and so the pharmacy is completely backed up. I changed my prescriptions to Jay's Hometown Pharmacy. They are excellent!

Terrible pharmacy. They are days behind on making scripts. Drive through line takes forever.Waited for 15 mins just to get to the window for an automated system to tell me they are on lunch.
