Hours are not as posted. Signed in online, Arrived 15 mins before they closed, 2 stylist inside sitting with the sign off and doors locked. 3rd time this has happened. Last time I was there at 6:38 and was told they were closing and had turned off their computers already. If they are going to close at 6:30.. they need to change their signage and online posting.

Came in for both my children and the person doing their hair was in too much of a hurry and not taking their time. My little boy had hair all in his mouth and crying and everytime we tried to get it out she kept going and didn’t give us a second to calm him down, my little girls bangs are all messed up different lengths and looks like a hack job! Not happy because she’s starting school in a week.

My 1st time to the great clips in Morganton Saturday and Karyn cut my hair she done an amazing job I will drive from Marion from now on to get her to cut my hair.

I arrived at Great Clips in Morganton Heights Shopping Center at 6:40 PM on July 16, 2025. One employee greeted me while sweeping and kindly said she'd be right with me. I even apologized for arriving late.
A few minutes later, another employee came from the back and told me they had stopped taking customers because they were close to closing. I was the only customer in the shop, and there were two staff members present. I expressed that I felt her response was rude, and she simply shrugged her shoulders.
I understand businesses have closing times, but a more respectful and customer-friendly approach would have made a difference. The lack of professionalism was disappointing. Also, I'm a double tipper. Too bad. Definitely not even one star.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This place absolutely butchered my husband's hair. Didn't listen to anything my husband or I said, and they left barely any length for it to be fixable elsewhere. The stylist had never set foot in any kind of beauty school, they were teaching her the basics on real people. Someone needs to get this girl some mannequin practice first.

Karyn is AWESOME! She seems to be the only one that runs this location. Nobody here once again but her and I don’t mind the hour and half wait bc she’s amazing. I really hope Great Clips recognizes her and has some sort of promotion in her near future. I’ve noticed so many employees come and go at this location over the years but Karyn is always here. Dependable and she gets to know her customers on a personal level. TOP NOTCH customer service! She honestly deserves only the best. I just hate how it seems she is the only one running this location when it’s such a busy area. Again highly recommend this Great Clips location just for Karyn. I promise she’ll take care of you! (I would of took a pic of her but she’s with a customer and didn’t out of respect) ?

I have always been pleased with the service and staff until yesterday. This lady was ASK to trim my bangs and layers. Barely snipped the ends and she says that's your trim! My bangs were not to be trimmed above my eyebrows and their halfway up my forehead! It was horrible!! I will find another place!! Horrible!! Thank goodness bangs grow!

I took a picture of the style I wanted to Great Clips in Morganton. There were 2 stylist working & one already had a customer, so I went to the available
booth, which was the 1st on the right. I showed her my picture & she seemed like she understood what style I wanted. After shampooing, she turned the chair in her booth where I was to be seated, with my back toward the mirrow. I felt like she was cutting a lot, but since she’d seen my picture, I wasn’t so much concerned.
When she did turn my chair around, I was speechless. She’d cut up in under the outer layer of my hair and it was SO short & it looked nothing like the picture I’d taken in. There was no way for her to fix anything, she’d already chopped it off..so, I paid & left.
Never again will I let my chair be turned where I cannot see in the mirror while my hair is being cut.Will never go back there.
