“The room was actually quite nice. It was both clean and attractive. However there was no insulation around the room door. It was a cold night and the breeze coming around the door was both forceful and cold. The heater in the room was no match. I jammed a towel in the top of the door, rolled one at the bottom of the door, hung my jacket on the door handle and then braced it all with the room ironing board. I travel to Morganton once a month and have always stayed at this Quality. If I stay there again I will carry a roll of wide masking tape. The video below shows the breeze after my efforts to stop it.”
“Friendly service on all fronts. The beds were comfy, the showers were nice and hot. Our room was conveniently located right next to the elevator for quick in and out access. The decor was very fancy. The only reason I'm giving the review 4 stars and not 5 is because breakfast was a bit of a let down. The eggs were bland and sitting in a puddle. The sausage was ok, but could have used more seasoning. The coffee was nice and hot at least.”
