Tried for days to make an appointment to renew my passport was never able to reach anyone the phone rings and rings and suddenly the line goes dead I was told to call there from the US postal 800 number information center but have decided to try to elsewhere

Welcome to the Twilight Zone of Mail Delivery. Two people in this entire post office deserve medals for actually working the rest seem to be running a government-funded game of hide and seek with my packages.
Apparently, because the address on my license doesn’t perfectly match, I’m not allowed to pick up my own stuff. I guess I need the President, three witnesses, and a DNA test just to get a box of socks from Amazon.
And don’t worry, they “attempt” to deliver. Translation: they pull up, honk at a squirrel, and drive away like they just completed the Olympic marathon of effort. Then I dont even get a slip saying “Sorry we missed you!” even though I was home standing by the door watching you not attempt anything.
This place is like if FedEx and the DMV had a child, and that child was raised by sloths. I don’t know if they’re overworked, undertrained, or just allergic to competence, but somehow they’ve turned delivering mail literally the one job they have into a mythological quest.
To the two employees who actually hustle: I salute you. You’re the only reason this building hasn’t spontaneously combusted from the sheer force of collective stupidity.
To the rest: congratulations on perfecting the art of looking busy while doing absolutely nothing. If laziness were an Olympic sport, you’d all be draped in gold medals.
Final note: If and when you see me in your lobby again, it’s not because I want to be there. It’s because you’ve kidnapped another one of my packages.

Package has sat there for a week. No one answers the phone. USPS needs to get involved, these are federal employees not doing their jobs.

Every single time I have a package I always have to pick it up from the post office instead of it being delivered. I am sick of having to go to the post office for my packages when I pay for delivery. This is the worst post office. I have ever dealt with in my entire life, I do not understand it. The lazy person that delivers the mail needs to be fired and replaced with someone else.

We were standing in the front yard and usps came to the box and looked at us and still put a can not deliver in our box without trying to delete our package

Horrible. I pay fees for over night shipping and never get my packages on time. They either say delivery was attempted knowing they never came near my home. Then I can't go and receive my package because they say it's on the truck that never showed up

I'm so exhausted with the postal service here, we've lived in morganton 3 years and I have had issues at every single adress. When will enough be enough this is so distressing. I've been getting updates saying my packages are being held at the post office BY CUSTOMER REQUEST. I don't request anything other than my packages and mail to be delivered. They have in the past dropped my packages off in a whole other town to a whole different address, or it's "delivery attempt failed" and it's a lie. I'm genuinely so tired of their consistent issues.

Our postal carrier won't deliver some packages if they are long or big she puts a note that Noone was home when we were in fact home. ALSO..what I ordered was a dog pillow..what is heavy about that? And a small rolling cart..maybe 10 lbs or less...My neighbors are complaining about the same issue with this same woman that delivers our mail too. So if she can't perform her duties, then maybe someone else should step in her place to be our mail carrier! I also have a nice place at the front door to deliver the mail..sometimes..it's threw in our concrete driveway..we live in a culdesac..the note she leaves says No Secure Place to leave the package...Instead..it's because she don't want to stop and get out of the car and walk it to the front door!!! Please reassign her and give us a new person that will halfway even try to deliver people's mail
It is Willowood Dr In Morganton NC also getting other people's mail in our box continuously and other neighbors getting my mail in their boxes as well

If I could give no stars I would. You put my mail on top of the mailbox ran over with tire tread. I recently received a stabbed package. Y’all are literally the worst. Hire people that are competent clean house if need be but this postal service is the worst out of any area I’ve ever lived.

Absolutely absurd that they won’t leave packages and you have to drive 25 minutes to the post office.
