The property manager (Temeka) at Public Storage charged me twice the same day to rent a unit. Initially, I rented unit 3150 and she charged me $52.00. Minutes later, I decided to switch for a bigger one. Instead of cancelling the transaction, she processed a move out, overcharging me for a non-refundable admin fee, lock, etc., then charged me again $132.00 for the new unit. It's been one month and I am not able to get my money back. She said I have to call Public Storage and ask them for the refund, which I've done. I've been calling Public Storage, the property manager and I am not able to get a refund or a credit for the rental of my unit. She was rude and told me it is not her job to process refunds. I basically lost $52.00, and I have to file a claim with the bank. Worst customer service ever.

On 08/10/24 I received the greatest help and support from the Property Manager Patrice Rice who resolved my storage space issues over and above what I expected, after having made 3 reservations, going to another location and no one was present to help Me (the location wasn’t even open at 8:30 am on a Saturday morning not advocating that Public Storage should be a 24 hour operation, b/c I understand employees need time off too) calling the reservation line and they were of no help I went to the Hopson Rd store at 4812 Hopson closest to me and Mrs Rice took ownership of my issue and fully resolved to it My satisfaction. She is to be commended for her excellent customer service, her care about my situation and her commitment to see it through she is deserving of a raise. There’s not a lot of customer service people left who understand it and will take ownership.

Came in early today and Patrice was available to help with all my needs. Showed me a couple of spaces just to be sure I got the right size. Answered all my questions and gave amazing customer service! Definitely was satisfied with my choice to rent here!

Worst service. Reserved online. At the office, the lady assigned me a unit that does not fit my needs and refused to refund the admin fee.

Special shout out to Dale for taking care of me and my wife as our lock was cut unexpectedly. He made sure a new lock was attached and had great customer service.

This is the worst location ever!! No one is ever here to help. I’m paying monthly for a storage but can’t get access because the lock is old and rusted. I’m always having issues trying to get in my storage. I have left multiple messages and no one calls back.

Rates increase substantially after a few months of renting. There is seldom anyone in the office on site for assistance. The app often doesn’t work to open the gates! Storage units are dirty.

Smooth and straight forward personal exchange after having had a terrible experience at one of their other locations in Cary. If it wasn’t for Shannon, I would have walked away from Public Storage. This is a location that takes customer service seriously. Highly recommend.
