Shocked to see puppies being SOLD. Went with a coworker who didn’t know dogs are overcrowding the animal shelters. Beautiful dogs that need homes are at the shelters and rescue groups. Stores that sell dogs have no conscience. They keep puppy mills going. Shame on you. “HSUS investigators reviewed USDA and/or state kennel inspection reports on over 100 of Petland's breeders, and found that more than 60 percent of the reports listed serious violations of basic animal care regulations.”
Update- this is a response to the owners reply to my review. The fact is for every dog obtained from a breeder, an abandoned dog is being killed at overcrowded shelters. I was glad to read the article on Bailing Out Beni. I have great respect for that organization. They also state that “To date, only 1 store out of the 600 active puppy stores we are tracking sources 100% from these breeders.. Only One. “ while you may do a better job with sourcing your pups, most stores do not. The National Mill Dog Rescue rescued over 1200 dogs last year. Dogs who have been BROKEN IN BODY AND MIND. Dogs who have been in a cage breeding litter after litter, no chance to be puppies for them. It is not radical to care about the awful conditions in most breeding mills. If we both care about the welfare of dogs, perhaps you can keep that in mind in how you address experienced rescue workers like the volunteers at National Mill Dog Rescue. I am informed. Despite your name calling I am responding to you.
I have added a pic of a dog who did not make it to a pet store. At a puppy mill, She had litter after litter since she herself was a puppy. See her matted hair that has never been groomed. What you can’t see are the sores covering her body, many health problems, and arthritis from being crammed into a small cage her whole life. She is Valentina, who was featured on Sitting with Dogs
On YouTubes. Why don’t you help these poor pups instead of fussing at people who help them.

I am a first-time dog owner and I would recommend going to this petland in Morrisville you will by far receive the best the very best from everyone on staff there Cora and Manny assisted me in such a great way and I can't forget Lelania your assistance and professionalism will not go I am grateful and appreciative of each and everyone on staff there I am a very very satisfied client .

Maria was very helpful on my visit for the 1st time finding out about petland but i recommend if your looking for a new puppy please visit this place it's very relaxing and welcoming maria did a fantastic time of doing that for me
