“I was driving from NC to Indiana on Hwy 52, 2 days before Christmas when my VW Scirocco began to have engine trouble. I went as far as I could on the highway and limped to an off-ramp, where, like an oasis in the desert, I happened onto this shop. I coasted/pushed my vehicle into one of the service bays. Never have I received such mercy from a garage. The Scirocco was a limited production vehicle and, after correctly diagnosing that the combustion problem was the basket filter of the fuel pump, the mechanic asked me if I would mind waiting while he drove to Winston-Salem to get the part! He didn't want me stranded for Christmas and not with my family. Best service I have ever received, and most memorable -- the year was 1992! I still owe them a thank you which I hope to pay next time I pass through.”

“We had not intended to purchase a car but our son got rear ended so off to the dealership we had to go. This was not our first stop. We actually went to another dealership in Greensboro and had a very unpleasant experience. It wasn't about negotiating on the car it was about the other dealership, making us feel like they really didn't care about us or care that we were there. So we left frustrated and drove 40 miles to Mount Airy to this dealership to look at this car. I wasn't in the best of moods, so it was an uphill battle for this Dealership from the start. I have to say the sales person that met us was one of the most pleasant car sales people I have ever dealt with. Very down to earth very attentive, very personable. When we arrived, he came out to greet us and we were given ample time to look at the vehicle, walk around it and check everything in it without any pressure. We took a test drive and he was attentive during the test drive, and wasn't on his phone or texting like the other salesman from earlier in the morning. Dealing with him during negotiations, as well as the general manager, and the finance person were again, easy, smooth, pleasant, and no pressure. I began to wonder if I was actually in a car dealership. Lol. Here's where they've earned our business. They were having the car cleaned and gassed up before we picked it up and the gentleman unfortunately ran over a screw. Flat tire! It was late on a Saturday and there was no one to patch the tire so we were going to have to drive home and back 40 miles each way to pick up the car. They actually had the car delivered to us two days later when the tire could get patched due to the holiday weekend and we did not have to go back and pick up the car. That to me is customer service and turned what could've been a really bad ending to this deal and turned it into an extraordinarily well done customer service moment. I do believe as my husband and I have to look for another car anytime in the near future, we are going to give these folks the first opportunity at our business, even though they are not the closest dealership because we truly had one of the best experiences in a car dealership we've ever had in our 31 years of marriage. Coming from me that really says some thing because honestly, I would rather get a colonoscopy then buy a car. L O L. Funny but kind of almost true. Thank you Simmons Nissan.”
“It's no fun having vehicle problems when you're traveling. I found myself in this predicament while driving from SC back home to NY. I was having issues and made it to Mt. Airy. I got a hotel and prayed for a shop willing to look at my truck the next day. The first place I called in the morning was Right Way Auto. Tyrell went out of his way to help, and even drove me to and from my hotel. I made it safely home the following day. I can't say enough about Tyrell and Right Way Automotive.”

“I had a problem with a tire on a brand new car in the middle of a trip. Luckily I stopped in here. Everybody I encountered here seemed very knowledge, friendly and helpful.
They got my problem resolved as quickly and inexpensively as possible on a Saturday morning. I was on my way in a couple of hours. It could have been much worse at dealer that was not as highly motivated as this place or that did not have their extensive onsite tire inventory. I consider myself very lucky to have gotten to this place. I don't believe I could have done better anywhere - especially on a Saturday morning.”
