Coming on here to give this place a good review amongst all the bad! The people here are professional but not overly friendly. Still, they get you in quick and help you out with whatever you need. The wait wasn’t terrible either I was in and out in an hour.

This one lady that works there is rude & not friendly what so ever! She answers in such a rude way when you have a question! Be nice lady its your job if you don’t like it look for another job. Won’t go back to this branch ever again! Rude people

I recently got a new car and I came to register it here because I bought it in Virginia. I’m not super educated on these things so I tried to make sure I had all the documents I needed and tried to explain myself the best I could. The one thing I needed the most I didn’t have which was the title it needed to be released from the bank. After the lady told me this she laughed and I apologized for not understanding and she just laughed again along with her co-workers. I’ve never had a good experience with this dmv and I don’t think I ever will. Either learn how to work in customer service or leave. It was embarrassing and rude.

The lady that my son just had for his driving test was really rude. She needs to find a new job. You can tell a child what they did wrong and how they can improve without being mean. If you can find another DMV to go to I would recommend that. No 16 year old should be made to feel like trash! Rant over!!

Ima start this off by saying this place fits in mt airy? other then that every time ive went there they seem to get aggravated at you, i mean why work at the dmv if u dont wanna deal with people? if u can go somewhere else do that, id rather go to the back of zaxbys to get what i need done

the Dobson court house gave me a specific document to give to the DMV and when brought to the DMV they said they said they can not use the form to update my record, I then went 4 more times every week and I was told something different every time with a horrible attuited I then called the DMV in Raleigh and had my case fixed within 10 min. the employees working at this location seem to have a power trip and yet seem to be the most laziest people I have met. I want my taxes to be helping the community not causing more headaches.

I do not know if the lady is willfully ignorant, or simply incompetent....according to the DMV website you do not have to have your social security card with you as long as you have proof of having a social. The website says a copy of tax documents will suffice.... We were turned away even though we had thorough documentation. I called DMV headquarters in Raleigh after being turned away and spoke with someone higher up who said we were correct in bringing tax documents and my daughters birth certificate. They said my daughter should have been allowed to obtain her learners permit as we all of the documentation needed (drivers Ed completion papers also). Those who work here appear to not know how to do them r job properly. Perhaps it was just laziness on the female workers part.
