Fantastic selection of dry goods, spices, preserves, organic items and a friendly staff. The "build your own sandwich" option from the deli in the back keeps us coming back week after week. Absolute Gem! Don't sleep on this quaint lil spot!

Stopped in for some country goods and found an awesome deli with gluten free bread and separate grill for the gluten free. The sandwich was stupendous. Also snagged some gluten free goods.

Definitely a place to check out! All the food in the deli is amazing. The food and snacks in the store is the kind of stuff you won’t find anywhere else in Mt Airy. And when you walk in, it’s like you took a step back in time. Extremely clean and wonderful staff. Never had a bad experience here.

Like the selection of pickles and jellies and baking supplies. Haven't tried deli yet. Glad to have store nearby instead of having to go all the way to Shiloh general store.

This place is such a disappointment. Today was the first time I've been in a couple years at least, I just love up the road from here so it's not like I'm never near it. Today reminded me exactly why I haven't been in a couple years. Just like the last time I was here I placed an order, today my ticket was the only one at the time when I handed it in and a woman wrote hers down after me and took a couple min for her to decide (keep that in mind). My sandwich was roast beef, Munster cheese, and bread....that's it! No condiment's, nothing added or extra, just meat cheese and bread. The previously mentioned woman who placed an order several minutes after me got her food first, this isn't starting off well. It's been 15 minutes so far, for my single order on their prep station. I started to observe the people working to see if or when they're going to make my food, they started scraping and wiping down the panini press, my food hasn't even began to be prepared. No bread in sight, no roast beef, or cheese.... nothing. I left and I won't be coming back. Very very disappointed, seems you can't find a place worth going to spend your money at anymore that takes customers seriously. Not my problem anymore. Bummer.

Great store with unique items. Deli is wonderful. Be sure to get your sandwich grilled. My favorite is the chicken salad croissant, and I even get it grilled. It's like walking into an old country store with the variety of goods they have.

I have driven by this place quite a bit and was curious about it, so I stopped in with the family. It's kind of an odd place that mixes kitschy localized items intended for tourists with deli food to order, Amish furniture, and a grocery type store. It's a bit like a catch-all store in West Jefferson or Blowing Rock. I didn't order any food, so I have no opinion on that. The furniture was all of the poly-resin stuff, and it appeared to be fairly well-made and comfortable. Probably great for outdoor seating, appeared to be good quality, and not cheap. The touristy side sells a lot of stuff like walking sticks, cooking utensils, jams, jellies, pickled eggs, shirts, and various other things. They do have a nice selection of Rada cutlery, which has a quality American made product like that I've only seen available online. The grocery side is good if you want some more unique items that you might find at a high-end grocer. You can buy good local-ish milk, bags of bulk items like wheat berries, oats, flax, bran, etc. There was a lot of snack and candy items. I bought some smoked cheese and non-homogenized milk and a couple of hand pies. The cheese is from Michigan, average stuff. The milk is from Heritage Harvest Farm in Pfafftown NC and is amazing. Overall, this store is worth a visit, but I probably have no need or desire to return.

A friend and I stopped here for some deli sandwiches and let's just say that the food is delicious! Very fresh and plenty of options to choose from, from vegan, meaty, cold cuts, soups, you name, they have it! If you are looking to eat clean and fresh look no further!

Honestly I did like this place at first I thought it would be an Amish fully based store but they had amish stuff but not as much as I thought they did and I was a little disappointed but overall a pretty decent experience the Sourdough Bread was good! Buckeyes were great and I got a few other things not bad!

They have a lot of food stuff, natural health items, deli and lots of candy and snacks. I got to watch a guy sing some Elvis and I bought a cute pair of socks and some homemade buckeyes. Its worth a stop to just look around.

A stop at Mill Creek is a must for any trip to 'Mayberry'. I enjoy the great selection of candy's and baking supplies. Trying a cup of fresh brewed coffee is a must. The staff is always so accommodating.
