I love my Walgreens. They take good care of their customers.

I had to go see the doc over the weekend in which the doctor had sent in three prescriptions for me to get. I drove down to Walgreens to pick up my prescriptions and immediately let the cashier know that I literally just left the doctor's office but have three prescriptions and I'd be waiting. She was very nice and told me OK. When my name was called over the intercom that my "prescription" was ready I went to the counter. One was ready. I should have picked up on that when I didn't hear the "s" on prescription. I told the cashier again I had three sent in. I continued to wait. I was told again my prescriptions were ready. I walked back to the counter and now they had two of the three. I told them again there were three and even asked them if they are not seeing them. I went back by the LabCorp door and had a seat and continued to wait. While waiting a male walked up to carry on a conversation with an employee telling a girl that walked up that he is married to the one girl's co-worker but he just considers the employee he's talking to a good friend. The girl walking up was bringing her sister lunch. After the sister left, the employee and the guy continued to talk but I was still there. Waiting on my last prescription to be filled. When it was finally filled, about 30 minutes later, I left. This is why people hate going in to wait for prescriptions. This is why the public is upset over poor customer service. Do better Walgreens. But hey, at least the employee that received her lunch from her sister while she was talking to her co-workers husband, who is only her friend, was enjoying her lunch in the vehicle with the guy. Hope it was good.

They call 57 times, leave a message saying my medications are ready. I go to pick them up, they're not ready. EVERY SINGLE TIME! I tried to pick up my daughter's medication and they said the insurance won't fill it because it says she's a boy. I can't even understand what this has to do with cough medicine?! I said I'll pay for it out of pocket then! $75 for cough medicine and i left. Hate this pharmacy!

One of the worst Pharmacies, perhaps ever , in my experience. Rude store manager, totally inept, rude pharmacy techs. An all around bleep show. Shame on Walgreens for allowing this ...do yourself a favor and find another location

I had seen a thumb brace on their app but couldn't find it at store at the price listed on app, but the nice cashier let me have one, same description, at that price. Very nice, helpful employees.

This has got to be the worst pharmacy ever i dropped off a prescription and was told 20-30 mins after 45 mins I pulled through the line for them to tell me it was never put in the system And I had to wait another 30 mins. The Hispanic girl is a b*** and needs to lose her job. She told me they were just to busy... to forget to do your job? They made no effort to make it right and was rude as hell. Worst customer service ever! I will drive an hour before I come back here.

I don’t know what is going on with the pharmacy at Walgreens on Rockford but it has gone severely down hill!! I currently have been sitting in line for 20 minutes for the 4th time this week. First, for some reason prescriptions that are sent in together can not be filled together. My husband had 2 sent in at one time around 10:00am on Friday. I came to pick them up at 4:30 and one was ready and the other was not. So not only did I have to sit in line 20+ minutes the fir

Nothing like LITERALLY sitting on hold to speak to the pharmacist for OVER 2 HOURS!!! No.. Not at once.... But everytime a pharmacist would answer after a 39 minute hold.... You Literally get hung up on.. 4xs in a row!!! You call the store because you seriously need to speak to a pharmacist due to possible allergic reaction to medication before taking it cuz of another script being taken... And the cashier says she cant leave the front to give a message to said pharmacy!! Asked if i could speak to manager... Manager confirms he is in the pharmacy right then and you ask if he can have pharmacist call you immediately. (All the while your husband is on his phone trying to get a pharmacist help ... Waiting online for same time frames only being hung up on after waiting half an hour!! IRRITATED AND PISSED!!! Will be searching out a new pharmacy!!

I tried to use coupons at the Rockford Street location for zip code 27030. The cashier said she was new and didn’t know how to use coupons from the App. Another cashier came and argued with me that I apparently wasn’t buying the right products since they wouldn’t process. After a long time I finally just left. I then went to the Independence Boulevard location and was out in a zip with the same items and redeemed coupons. I understand a new employee needing assistance but for 2 to not know how to do this was disappointing and frustrating.

Slow in filling out prescriptions and the pharmacy staff are rude and act like they had rather be doing something else besides taking your call

This is a deeply average Walgreens, but the generally nice staff and availability of products makes it my go-to drug store. My experiences here are usually running in and grabbing road snacks, perusing the seasonal aisle, getting photos printed, stocking up on my favorite dupe makeup brands, grabbing a last-minute birthday/holiday card, and getting my vitamins and basic medical supplies and over the counter pharmaceuticals. I have noticed the drive-through line can get long, but I don't generally ever use their pharmacy so I can't speak on how functional that part of the store is. For photo printing, if you need help with the kiosk someone would absolutely help you, but the setup is so janky, it's easier to just download the app and send in your photos that way. They also struggle to keep a lot of the most popular makeup products in stock I've noticed lately. More than once I've needed a Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner and they're been completely out of stock for example. It doesn't help that their makeup aisle gets trashed pretty easily and it can be hard to find certain products sometimes. Ultimately, their makeup aisle is a lifesaver and generally does have a good variety of products stocked, but about 10% of the time it's a total let down. As far as vitamins and over-the-counter medicines go, they're usually not going to be the best price in town in my opinion unless you catch something specific on sale, but it is handy to have everything in one place. I'm able to stock up here as much as I do because their rewards system actually pays off, and they're constantly running a decent sale on something. My last experience at this location was getting my COVID-19 shot, and I had pretty mixed emotions about it. I booked my appointment online and saw they had several openings, and my brother called and was told they only had one opening and if he didn't take it he may have to wait several days until another appointment opened up. I immediately went online and changed my appointment time to 15 minutes after his so we could still carpool, and I'm sure it was an honest mistake somehow but it was pretty annoying. If anyone else is considering getting their vaccines at this location I absolutely recommend using the Walgreens website just in case. Otherwise, we got there filled out our paperwork, were informed they only distribute the Moderna vaccine (not our preference but it was fine), and got our shots in a tiny room off the side of the pharmacy. It was a little wild that the woman distributing our vaccines starting talking about how she hadn't gotten the vaccine yet because she wanted to wait until more testing was done and seemed to have a general distrust in the vaccine, but otherwise she was helpful and answered all our questions. Overall, I was impressed that I was able to make a next-day appointment to get my vaccine, but I just wish the process was set up more efficiently.
