Visited this location, spoke with Chris about an IRA from deceased parents that was stolen... seemed eager to tell me it was a Roth IRA, and paid out in July of 21. I then had to speak with a lady whom obviously pure lied to me. She clearly insulted my integrity, telling me it was Way to Save account. Was not. This location needs taught customer service and honesty.I realize EVERY employee must continue with the frivolous lies to help cover Wrongful Foreclosure on said deceased parents home. My husband and I were sadly disappointed in our experience today at our local Wells Fargo branch. The Personal Banker was anything but personal. She was unfriendly and unwelcoming to us. As a former banker and Branch Manager, I was appalled by her lack of customer service skills and her treatment of us. My husband was completely unnerved by her actions. This one interaction makes us question keeping our banking relationship at this bank & especially at this branch.

I use this branch about 4 or 5 times a year. The staff has always been really nice. I'm usually in and out pretty quick. The branch is a little out of the way because it's on a one way street but it's manageable. There is an ATM on site if you need it plus a big drive through for maybe faster service.

I wish I could give negative stars for the Mount Airy branch…. This place gets worse and worse. 10-15 years ago the staff knew how to treat people. You were like family and they cared and ask about your family. The staff employed there these days are a joke. It’s as if you’re bothering them by coming to the bank. I will say there are a couple of people that are “nice” but customer service definitely doesn’t seem be a priority for Wells. This isn’t the first time this branch has made me feel unwelcome so I think it’s time to search for a new bank to transfer my accounts to. Amazing how over 20 years with a bank means nothing anymore.

After getting frustrated with my current bank I considered switching to Wells Fargo, after 14 minutes on the phone listening to an automated message I get thru to a call center and not the branch. I had one simple question and it took 14 minutes to be told the lobby is closed. Long story short I’m not taking my business here, customer service is not a priority obviously.

not possible for online banking if you have a password problem they wont fix it online ...you have to go there in person and i aint that was the point of online banking

This bank doesn't know what it means to meet scheduled appointments. After scheduling an appointment I waited 30 minutes for someone to help me. The staff knew I was there and had an appointment but did nothing to accommodate me. I left without meeting with anyone and decided not to open an account with them if that's how they treat customers.
