I’ve tried multiple times to get an erroneous bill corrected. The customer service rep always says it will happen at the end of each call, but it still hasn’t. Will probably have to end up denying the charge on my credit card.

Been a customer for almost 9 years now and every experience I have had with AmeriGas has been exceptional. The drivers are always nice and helpful if I have questions or any concerns. Delivery is always pretty fast. Customer service is also great! A great company to deal with all the way around. Donna

Our plan is to change providers at the next opportunity. Dealing with customer service people not based in the US is chalenging and un-American. We cannot support that.

The review applies only to AmeriGas, not the deliveryman. The deliveryman was excellent! The problem was that AmeriGas was completely unwilling to give me any sort of delivery window - even a window of several hours would have been appreciated. I live more than an hour away from where the gas was being delivered. Consequently, an entire day of time was wasted because AmeriGas refused to give any sort of delivery window.

We have an account with them in my father-in-laws name, who died 20 years ago, and they make it impossible to change the name on the account. They have no problems taking our money, and will send the bill to me, but will not even tell me if they received our payment. Their customs service is terrible!!!

Worst company ever. you can't even go in your local office and talk to anybody. Doors are Locked.Your local call will go overseas. It's in another country. You can never talk to someone from your area unless it's one of our good local guy is delivering the gas or tanks.Like I said, the calls overseas didn't know. Tell you anything to get you back off the phone. They are liars and don't have a clue on what's going on here in the united states as far as delivering picking up tanks anything.Beware do not use them.

I was less than happy with this experience. You gave me little to no notice when you were coming. First you went to the wrong place when I was home. Then you came back without giving me no notice and I was not home. The third time you phoned only an hour before the arrival. The technician was fine. I was disappointed that the leak turned out to be where your technicians had spliced two lines together when the line was put in and I ended up being charged over $750 between the two invoices. I am seriously considering changing companies.

This place is a disaster. The person on the phone was very hard to understand and didn’t seem to understand me either. It took a 29 min phone call to set up a gas delivery for a 120 gal tank. She kept saying she was checking out information -good grief. Then she told me it would be 7-10 days until delivery AND she couldn’t give me any idea when that would be but that an adult had to be present. This is for a vacation rental. How can I be sure some one will be there whenever they decide to turn up. I also had to pay today for gas they may be delivered in 7-10 days.

It is impossible to get in touch with a person that is in the area in which you are being served. All local numbers connect to a call center in the Philippines. The customer service representatives speak English with a heavy accent and talk very fast which makes it even harder to understand what is being said. Additionally there is so much background noise ( other people talking and laughing ) it is even more difficult to understand what is being said. If you have a request that is only a little out of the ordinary, it is very hard to choose the correct options to get you to a live customer service representative in less than 5 options. When you finally do connect to a live person, there is no follow up. I have had to call 4 times in 6 days to get someone to respond to my request. I guess you can say my experience with America’s is not positive

Run, don't walk, away from Amerigas! First, let me say, the men that came to the house were great... no issues there, at all. However, my issue stemmed from the fact that the wrong orifices were installed in the wrong burners at the time Amerigas installed the range. They came out, were here 20 minutes, and switched the orifices. A day later, I get an email with an attached bill of 479.00 and change. RIDICULOUS!! Exorbitant fees and high handed customer service by the 800 service line will do more to shutdown Amerigas than the federal government or climate activists ever will.EDIT: I had already emailed that address well over a week ago. I received a canned response instructing me to allow "time" for them to review the issue. I have since contacted them again, with no response. Where is the customer to turn when the local office is closed to the public, the 800 customer service is useless, and the email customer service is almost useless? If Amerigas has so many people complaining that it takes weeks for a resolution to a billing issue, maybe they need to rethink their business strategy. ?

Absolutely the worst company I have ever worked with in my entire life. Their call-center is worthless. I've been working for two months to change my account from Will call to automatic delivery.

HORRIBLE! They have no local presence or phone number. They only have an 800 number for any communication. Foreign answering service is never helpful. Don't ask them a single question or they will put you on hold indefinitely or disconnect. I've asked for a supervisor 8-10 times over the last 2 years and NEVER been connected or received a call back. They over charge and under-deliver. Go ANYWHERE else!In response to AmeriGas's response below: I'm very glad that you finally now acknowledge that this is concerning. I wish it had been concerning in the last 2+ years that I've been calling in and getting horrible service. If companies put half the attention into customer service as they do replying to bad reviews, maybe the bad reviews would never come. Regardless, after your having made mistake after mistake, billed me in error in excess of $500, and numerous hours of time wasted trying to get the issue resolved, I have already contracted another company to remove your tank and close this account. I would love if you could refund me the error above (should be easy to find since it has been an open ticket for months now, and I am still awaiting a supervisors call). I'll update here if I ever hear back from your team.

AMERIGAS shut our LP off in May 2022, on the tank we purchased with our home earlier that month. We own both tank & contents, AMERIGAS had no right to cut our service as we had absolutely no relationship with AMERIGAS. We spent many hours speaking to various AMERIGAS reps in order to get the service reconnected two days later. I have sent the purchase documents by USPS Certified mail and to AMERIGAS Customer Support by email at least 4 times, requesting AMERIGAS dissolve the account that we were forced to set up in order to have the LP reconnected. We have not received confirmation on the account dissolution but did receive acknowledgement from Bianca at Customer Support that we own our tank & gas. AMERIGAS has recently sent an invoice, billing reason unknown and I have forwarded that, along with the aforementioned purchase documentation, by email to AMERIGAS Customer Support an additional three times. And now, they are threatening to disconnect our service again!! We have posted No Trespassing signs and attached the purchase documents to the LP tank and locked it down. This company is obviously run by idiots.
